Erwin Family @ Sea Posted March 4, 2016 #8 Share Posted March 4, 2016 Whats most impressive is that he earned 1800 points in less than 1010 days! Quick math: Even at 2 points a night that's about 900 nights out of 1010.

parrotfeathers Posted March 4, 2016 #12 Share Posted March 4, 2016 That feat is truly amazing! But doesn't that also mean he has no life at all on land? I could not imagine what it would be like!

Iluvcruising2 Posted March 4, 2016 #14 Share Posted March 4, 2016 The math shows that Super Mario probably spends the vast majority of his time at sea. Amazing. I recall seeing Super Mario on the Voyager of the Seas when the ship first came to Singapore. I believe he was on the same Singapore to Shanghai cruise as we were back in 2012 - http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1656116
Toddcan Posted March 4, 2016 #15 Share Posted March 4, 2016 That feat is truly amazing! But doesn't that also mean he has no life at all on land? I could not imagine what it would be like! Not sure how you define "no life", but with the internet, you can be "in touch" all of the time. He's obviously in a position in his life to be able to do this. Kudos to him! :) I think I remember reading an article about him, and he spends a few days here and there on land to take care of his business affairs, and cruises the rest of the time. ZoeyVictoria Posted March 4, 2016 #16 Share Posted March 4, 2016 We were on his 5,000 nights celebration cruise (and it was a huge celebration by RCI). I am almost positive it was August 2014.

Royal2464 Posted March 4, 2016 #19 Share Posted March 4, 2016 No need to feel sorry for Mario. He is living his life as he has chosen to do, and still enjoys it very much. He is a kind, friendly, gregarious guy who enjoys cruising and life. Find someone else to feel sorry for, Mario is doing just fine.

Arizona Cruz Chic Posted March 4, 2016 #23 Share Posted March 4, 2016 We have not had the pleasure of sailing with Mario. Our cruise paths may cross one day. He has mighty big shoes to fill.....we have just under 300 points, can't think of a better way to try and catch up....one cruise at a time! Congratulations Mario! ***
