"Star Savings" Star Class Disount

Recommended Posts

There is a very short-lived Star Class Discount being offered on some Star Class sailings. Apparently this $1000 instant savings (called "Star Savings") will only be offered yesterday (1-30) and today (1-31) although I have not confirmed that information. This special price also comes with $100 OBC.

I was able to upgrade a casino comp booking from a D5 balcony to Star Class Sky Loft Suite) for a very good price. So this confirms that they are still offering casino rates to full suites, which is a good thing.

Maybe they have finally reached a pricing threshold with Star Class. That is very good news, indeed since the same exact room I booked on Harmony in Feb. 2017 is more than double the price for Feb. 2019.

Apparently these Star Class rooms are going very fast. Good luck !

Damn.... Either I got an incredible deal on my upcoming cruise or prices have really gone up!

Getting the "Star Savings" deal on a 2br Aquatheater suite on Oasis for same week in 2020 as I'm going on Harmony this year is more for 2 people than I'm paying for 3 people this year!

Can you let us know any specific sailing dates?

Thanks

Well, the one I got is on Allure on April 8 but there are no more Star Class suites left on that sailing. I have seen a couple more but do not recall which ones. I think you might just have to hunt and peck.

Prices have gone up (not that you didn't get a great deal). The same exact 2 BR ATS that I booked in Feb. 2017 has more than doubled in price for Feb. 2019.

Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had been watching an SL for April 1st Oasis and it got reduced yesterday to~3700 per person. This morning I checked again and it was the same price.

After your post I checked and it went down to ~3200.00 per person.

Got it booked!

Is this for 2020 or any year? Just curious if it's specific cruises or all of them.

Not sure how many cruises in 2018 or 2019 still have unbooked Star Class suites..... 2020 is the farthest in the future any sailings are already set for, but only for a few ships.

I went randomly searching and while many of the Star Class suites are blocked from view (I'm sure if you go on some other agency website you may be able to find them) I did find one fairly easily.

November 18, 2018 Oasis has a Star Loft available showing a Star Savings. There are also a couple of other Star Class rooms available but their information was blocked. If you have a specific sailing in mind and there is a Star Class room showing available (even if it is blocked and says "no cabins available) I recommend calling to get the information. Just b/c it shows "no cabins available" doesn't really mean there aren't any. If that category is truly sold out, it will not come up as an option at all.

I didn’t get to take advantage of this sale, but I did save approximately $850 today on two Star Class sailings. One is during March break 2020 (two which I already had a $2,500 reduction) and the other is September 2019. No thousand off, but it still is off.:)

If you go to the large box retailer travel website, it shows available cabins fairly well. It doesn’t go all the way into 2020 March sailings but they only show to December 2019. The UK RC site shows inventory fairly well too.

When I booked a few days ago, there was a 2bdrm aquatheater on 8 for 7500 for 4 people. That seems great ... and pack a few more in and the price is really worth it. That was for Nov 5 on Allure. We decided just to take the CL and paid 5900 for 4 with gratuities for the first 2 included.

We booked the SL on Allure for August 26 for 8200 for 3. Mind you, it was not on the website ... I called and asked if there were any star class rooms open...

Prices are definitely great for "older" ships. We don't care. We like all the Oasis class but do want suites at a price we feel comfortable. It is in the school year generally.

Not sure you all wanted prices but I find it easier to "compare" what one is being quoted.

L2 on Symphony $12,900+ [emoji24][emoji22][emoji30][emoji31][emoji36] for 2

There is one L2 left on our March 2019 cruise and it is approx $16,000. The remaining L1s are more. Our Star Loft for 3 is only a couple thousand more. It pays to book early.
