I rebooked with the promo, but my box ta couldn't get it to show in my receipt, though she claimed it shows on her side.

So I checked the Princess side and found premiere beverage package promotions on the bottom of the travel summary, but it shows as though we are being charged??? Is that how it is supposed to show, or do I need to make another phone call?

Anyone know? Thanks. :)

too small, couldn't read - try adjusting the font size

Not certain what is up with the size. It is quite large on my screen, but I've resized it.

I would get your booking on paper somehow with all the perks listed and take it on board to avoid any errors at the last minute. Either print a copy of your TA's email or print a Travel Summary from Princess. My travel summary shows the Bev Page value and cost of 0. Good Luck.

I had the same issue where I couldn't find mention of the Sip and Sail promo on my personalizer. On my two upcoming cruises (prior to the one I just booked) I also have the Sip and Sail promo from last year and it shows up on the bottom of the "Onboard Reservations" tab. However, if you open up the Travel Summary you should see it listed there. If it is not listed, then definitely contact your TA again and perhaps Princess also.

It may take some time for Princess to update the "Onboard Reservations" tab.

I booked directly with Princess for the sip and sail and the PBP shows up at the bottom of my travel summary like yours does with an amount also. But since it said Premier Beverage Package Promotion, I figured that they were just listing the amount of the benefit. It isn’t included in the balance due amount I owe Princess by final payment date which is also on my travel summary.

We just re-booked a 26 day Trans-Pacific with zero impact to our bottom line and for a 26 day cruise that is a huge bonus to us.

Thanks to everyone here who keeps track and posts important info such as this!

Cheers

Steve & Vicky

So I called. I have been assured all is fine. They will not be able to give me an invoice that shows it for a couple of weeks, as QC is apparently backed up and the ta's system can't seem to handle the change on the invoice, though it is in their system.

I just would feel better if I had something besides huge $$ showing on the travel summary.

Thanks for the feedback.

Just look at your total owed for the cruise - that will not include the bev package

We booked an Alaskan cruise on the $1 promo which also included $250/person OBC. The price with the Sip + Sail promo is unchanged. Although the PBP is “worth” $483/person on this cruise the $250/person of OBC is worth more to us so we won’t be switching. If we didn’t have the OBC offer we would have already switched.

Same here for my Alaska cruise June 18, 2019. My TA says the cabin price is the same but I would lose $500 OBC in exchange for the Sip&Sail. being able to use $500 towards drinks and gratuities is of more value to me than $966 of drinks. I'll wait for the 3 for Free sale in the fall for a better deal than I have now.

For those of you that booked a sip & sail cruise, is the premium beverage package showing up in your personalizer? It’s not on mine even though princess and the TA day it is showing on their end. It shows on a booking I made last year under OB reservations at the bottom, but not this one.

No S&S for us. With that said we were told that since our category was closed we could not add it, well this morning the category opened up so I called and was told yes it could be added but I'd have to pay the current casino rate of the cruise to add S&S, well the new casino rate is $1025 more pp from what we paid originally, needless to say my answer was "nope we'll keep the current rate".

I had booked a 14-day transatlantic during a well known TA's 3-day sale that included S&S and free gratuities and some OBC. I am not one to just take the first answer I get so I watched and waited and decided to contact a big box store's travel department that I'm a member of and I got the same category room (deluxe balcony) with the S&S and enough OBC to pay for the gratuities and am saving almost $1100. This is factoring in perks and everything on each TA's deal. It's actually an amazing deal! So do check other sources and see if you can get the S&S

Don't you still have to pay the current asking price? I'd be happy to have the perk but not at a cost of $1,200 more for the cabin.

The current rate direct through Princess for the cabin I booked is about $2700 pp and I got it for $1929, so no.

My next two cruises in Nov and March don’t offer it but we booked in Nov of 2019 and March of 2020 and the March one is on the new Sky Princess! I also price checked our March cruise while I was booking and got a price drop of about 500 bucks. It pays to log on and check your bookings every so often.

Holy Cow! Perhaps I will transfer the booking to my TA early (usually only do so right before final payment) and see if there is anything he can do. I want the promo but don't want the $1,200 price increase for my cabin. Many thanks for the info. So often folks post stuff but don't give the pertinent details. It sounds as if you did well. Congratulations!

Decided on an alternate solution for drinks. I booked my balcony for $1,200 less than they are now asking so I'm not at all willing to pay that much more in order to get the Sip and Sail. I just called Princess and downgraded to a Premium Ocean View. Dropped my price by $1,400. With the savings I'll buy my own drinks.

You have to work all the angles. I have a Hawaii cruise for next March that I booked under the last Sip and Sail, then refared during the Anniversay Sale because the bottom line was better. Now the price has dropped, and even with all of the OBC that I'll lose factored in, the net decrease in price is $583.00. I booked this with a FCC. Do you know if I refare it again will my deposit remain unchanged? Plus now the deposit is non-refundable, but if I can keep my FCC deposit I may refare.
