Going going gone sale

Yeah, nothing is jumping out at me either.

Well, there's that $99 3 nighter on Navigator - anytime the taxes are higher than the cabin fare you know it's a deal.

Biker, who wonders if the GGG deals will move to the weekends for good and how many folks with existing bookings will be denied these prices.

It's been so long I don't remember  Can you use DP340 on these?  I think you can still use the balcony discount right?

I was just going to ask about that. What if you are booked on that three day Ensenada and it is past final payment? I don’t see this price online though.

The price is not there yet.  I think the flyer is for July 20 and 21 (And I thought it was 23 and 24 earlier today)   And if it's like in the past sometimes these prices were gone if you were not up at midnight to book

There are no price drops inside final ( other than the few CWC covered ones left).

They changed it  look again  At least I wasn't imagining that it was 23 and 24

I guess we’ll find out tomorrow.

Biker, who thinks there must be a new GGG flier editor who does yet know how that is supposed to work.

Thank you. What is CWC? The last time I sailed Royal Caribbean was in 2009. I have no idea what’s going on now, ha ha. I usually sail with Princess.

CWC = Cruise With Confidence, an enticement to book (with some perks) which ended in March.

Thanks for sharing this. Not a big deal since we’re not ready to book & the price right now is already pretty darn low, but we were considering one of the Indy cruises listed (he types from the Indy Solarium).

I keep looking, also.  We already have a cruise every month until the end of the year, so I don’t know why I think we should squeeze another in.  That money would be better spent in the casino, working towards a Prime cruise.

Because 2 cruises in a month > 1? 😁

We’re only looking b/c we’re considering squeezing in 11 nights before next June so we can hit D+ on our already booked Wonder cruise.

My wife is a teacher so we really only ever cruise in the summers but she has a new position & feels more comfortable using up some of her stockpile of saved vacation days now. Is it technically worth it just to get to D+ sooner? Of course not, but it’s hard not to be impatient when approaching a new level.

Or do you just book online with your C&A number?

This. But as has been mentioned, RCI could decide at any time that they are "sold out" at that price. Many times, the sailing can be had at the GGG price, before or after the flier sales period, when you won't get the "must be a new booking" restriction either (to get a price drop on an existing booking).

Thanks for the info. Saw one out of Galveston. It's about $50 cheaper thru the sale. Not enough to keep me from booking if I miss the sale but $50 could pay for an excursion or go towards grats or parking 🙂

Checked on the Indy cruise I booked on Sunday this morning.  While the guarantee rate went down to $129 for an inside, the option to choose your own room would be $25 more a person than I paid.  I would also have to pay $80 more a person to upgrade to a guarantee balcony if they even allowed that.  I'll just stay where I am and be content to know I didn't leave money on the table by booking 3 days too early.  Now to put that money to good use....booking the drink package!  🙂
