Has anyone had their bid locked out of changes early and NOT gotten the upgrade? We placed 2 bids for 10/10 Allure and on Thursday, one went expired and the other is pending and cannot be edited. There’s some Cruise Planner purchases we want to cancel if we are upgraded so just trying to plan ahead, I guess.

I made a bid on 5 categories for the 10/3 Allure and this past weekend all were showing "expired" except CLS which showed "Pending". I just got the email that my bid was accepted and we were upgraded to the Crown Loft Suite! What makes this special is that it was a casino comp cruise, meaning we paid only for port fees & taxes, and made a bid just above the minimum. So, we saved over $10k with the upgrade!

After our recent cruise we have decided the priviledge of choosing location is worth more than we paid for our upgrade.  We went from midship to way down the hall long walk on Allure for this AFIB girl!  We walked more than I ever thought I could....very hard with my condition plus mask on.  So from now on, sticking with what I pick for ambulatory convenience!  I know, it's healthier, but I am just not able to do it now.

I had a Balcony GTY on Ovation sailing on 8 Oct 2021 however all my bids were expired except for GS 2 BR says Pending. May I know when they will state whether I have won or lost? Since my credit card has not been charged yet. Thank you for all the answers provided.

We are on the same sailing.  We have three offers pending.  I'm wondering how they determine if offers are accepted?  Is it just the amount?  Or does C&A level count?  Crossing my fingers for you and for us!

Congratulations!  We are hoping for the same miracle on Ovation next week.  Enjoy your suite - they are truly lovely!

Yes on the Allure also.  We didn’t bid on a CLS.  We are in a balcony so went for a JR Suite or Geand.

We had a Hump Balcony on deck 6, moved by RCCL to a hump on Deck 9 (Social distancing?) then won the bid for CLS. Does yours still show pending?

Love that!  I'm a big fan of eggs benedict in CK as well.  Hope you have a fabulous trip!

Had a JS a few weeks ago on the Mariner with only 880 passengers. I think this one just might top it. 🙂

Mine was accepted last Friday and we sail this Friday the 1st. I kept checking my room number on the cruise planner and saw it there first. Good luck.

Awesome!  Ours still says pending for all our bids for 10/1 & 10/8 sailings.  (We're currently in GS with large balcony).

Star class would be a dream....and a 401k buster. Lol! Website site is showing $15k for three without the discount. Shows $10.4k with discounts and we only paid $383.13 for port fees & taxes for our hump balcony. 🙂

We were in a balcony with large balcony room 7654 and we bid $165 which was just over the minimum of $150. They moved us to deck 9 in the JS rooms that hold 5+ ppl.

Is it possible to add someone to your cabin/sailing after Royal Up offer is accepted? If so, how would rate for additional person be determined?

I believe that adding a person after the RoyalUo would mean a complete re-pricing of the cruise...but that's just a guess.
