Her lines aren't bad if you don't look at that lopsided thing on the back and that hideous bow.

LOL - seems we have said that about a couple of other behoomeths.

Have to go and take care of puppy and the big boy.  Puppies wait for no man (or woman).

thanks Kathi for starting the thread and to Lou & Dave for the webcam.

Been fun sharing the sail a way with all of you.  Until the next one 😄

Thanks, Copper, for the information about the take-out Officers of the Nieuw Amsterdam.

In 2008, I had the privilege of sailing with Mrs. van Zaane and sharing a shore excursion with her, in Egypt, I recall.  A very pleasant and gracious lady and was very much the "tourist" that the rest of us were on that tour.

It's called the Magic Carpet

Thanks Copper, At least now we know what it is.  I don't know if I would like a bar going up and down like that.  I have enough trouble maneuvering after a few drinks.

I had read that it does not move when passengers are on it.

I think the magic carpet also doubles as a tender landing.  I hope there's another tender spot on the other side.

Roy

Yes, it does serve that purpose as a tender landing.  A view on the Port of Nassau web cam showed the Magic Carpet being used it being used for such when Celebrity Edge was using their tenders off Nassau.  No information, as far as I know, about the question about a tender spot on the Port side of the ship.
