Heading toward VZB now, cellular signal began to act funny, ready for a good dinner after a light lunch.

Be back later when I get our WiFi activated, limited posts till we get to PC around noon on Tuesday. Busy day tomorrow with the CC Meet & Greet, they are expecting a big turnout. Just going to hangout a bit except to help run the cabin crawl later in the week.

Glad that this is helping those in dreaming & in need of a vacation.

Thank you. We was on the Escape in April out of Miami. Was just wondering if they got rid of beers from florida and changed them with something out of the Northeast.

Ahh Good Point! If we don't hear any differently we will know for sure in 2 weeks!

Here we go, bags are packed & ready to go ... ship came back early, disembarkation seemed smooth.  We are excited to be onboard again for the next 15 days (14 nights)

Standby, Dexddd, etc. for interim & random "key" updates as we progress along ... maybe meatball_nyc would be waiving at sailaway toward us, except we are portside & might be too windy to be outside, we will see.  As usual, post your questions, comments & requests, etc. and I will get to them as best as I can, satellite WiFi time is what it is & we will be "metering" our usage, limited - no plans to upgrade at this point.  We will be using Google Fi in almost all the foreign ports as long as there are cellular coverage with roaming partners.

Getting out of the winter chills !!

We are on the next Escape cruise to the Southern Caribbean when you return (same cruise as Joe ("AKA Red - Sol)

Have fun and keep us posted.

Hope you have great weather.

Good late evening all, had a good dinner tonight.  Was going to sit for the Welcome Abroad show until Mrs. M pulled a detour to the not-too-busy casino - left a very small donation as we didn't stay long.  Retreated back to our room and hook up Sony notebook PC via HDMI to the Sole TV,  sit back & relax.

Dexddd, ran into Charry S. on our way out of Savor - any new message for her tomorrow?

Going to snap pictures & explore the ship in greater detail on our 2nd. time sailing her,  and upload them when we get to PC.  Dailies will be kept but will only upload them on request as this is a West Carib itinerary - feel free to ask specifics & post questions.

Ship is sailing in great weather, barely feel the ship moving at almost 22 knots -  130+ nm out of NY with another 360 nm to go, at our speed - should get in early.  Seas are just under 5 ft. and wind at 30, not choppy at all.

That's all for this evening - next update/post will be sometime tomorrow.  Good night !

Sounds like so far so good.

Only message for Charry and Jefferson is if they defect to MSC we'd love to see them on Seaside twice this year or Meraviglia next year.

We'll be watching cams for you MKing on Tuesday.

I've started thinking about this cruise for the future.  Wondering what the outside temps are like on that first sea day.  Right now (9:00AM Monday eastern time) you are E/SE of Atlantic City.  I'm thinking it's still chilly and not really pool weather.  Probably won't be for most or all of that 1st day at sea.  Is that your observation from the ship?

Staterooms aren't ready yet @ 1:15 pm, sipping our coffee in a not too crowded MDR.

Alvin is CD on board & Joey ??? Asst. CD.

Connected to she's WiFi, booked LeBistro for Tuesday, and Moderno next week, plenty of availability, whether it's for 2, 3 or 4, etc.

After this sailing, I will see if I can do a different kind of review. BTW, very few children on this cruise & it's an older crowd, as expected.

Norwegian App's optional call & message function, still $9.95 for unlimited 14 days of usage.

A big turnout for M&G. One of our best sailing out of NY and a big bonus being it's January.

More later.

Just wondering about Canvas by you (where to get reservations) and the Comedy Club (were you able to get reservations if you wanted to)? Also the pics on post #37 are amazing. Have a blast

Great photos, Henry!   Sailing out of NYC is beautiful.

I don't know if we'll ever be able to cruise as often as you do, but dang, it's a goal worth working toward!  I feel fortunate that we will be able to do one this year again after our first in 2018.

We just got off the 12/28 sailing and I am watching your review with envy! We heard the next sailing was 2 weeks and wished we could've just not disembarked! The crew on the Escape was fantastic and we had a great time on the ship. Yes, Joey is the Assistant Cruise Director and I almost liked him more than Alvin! He gave a truly stunning performance during the Dance Battle so if he's hosting an event, I'd be sure to stay a little and watch. Rasheeda was also very fun, though as we were disembarking she seemed to have lost her voice the night before so you may not see much of her until later.

Thank you for letting me relive the Escape vicariously through you!
