A few pics outside. They are getting ready for the Marathon tomorrow. Streets will be shut and the masses will be running. Kudos to them. Our Marathon will be can we get to the ship in good time.

The route.  I’m glad we aren’t getting off the ship tomorrow, with an early morning flight.

They are already closing streets tonight.

Room looks really nice.  Glad we aren't disembarking in the morning and trying to make a 9:30 am flight like we usually do.  (Yes, we're those people...talk about stress).  Room service looks good, but it's not Gilbert's!  Have a great sailaway.

So my followers.

We are currently sitting in the Concereige Lounge on the 36th floor waiting for our room to be ready. We arrived at 4:40 pm and check in is at 4pm. It is now 6:55pm and our room is still not ready. They also have no idea to when it will be ready. With the Marathon going on there is not availability of rooms either. This is our first visit to this highly rated hotel and needless to say we have not been impressed.

We had to cancel a dinner reservation for the Yardbird at 6:30 pm and we have had to cancel another reservation we made for a different location for 7pm. Totally unacceptable.

I really don’t know what else to say, than you take your chances if you book here. After all it’s not we showed up at noon looking for an early check in.

Maybe there are to many upper tier loyalty members there.🤔😉🤣

Nice, I have the 10-22, no stabilization, though.

Only used the big rig once this past week

I hope to use the big rig a few times this sailing.

I think it will be chaos tomorrow. It was good but we were really looking forward to The Yardbird.

LOL, now that made me laugh. It was actually fairly quiet and we were there from 4:50 to 7:30. I’m not sure how people do it in the SL all week.

Our home for the week, a familiar place. If you are on board, stop by and say hello.

I think I can get this one for about $400 more than our A1, but Laura not a fan of stairs.

Cabin service is probably better.

Decisions, decisions....

Stairs might get be better than the long walk down the hallway.

Good Morning Andrew! We will be at -23c tomorrow (a balmy -14 today) and more snow coming today -- look forward to reading your review.

15cm of snow tomorrow for our place. Owen had no school last Wednesday and Friday. I suspect tomorrow could be the same.

Good Luck getting to the ship. It would have been much better if you were staying north of the port, at least those roads open by 10.  I'm not sure how you get there from your location until after lunch.  We ran into the Marathon, last year, but we were fortunate enough to have been staying north of the port (just by dumb luck).  Anther strike against your hotel.

Enjoy your cruise

Agreed.  There are routes open but it will take longer.

And now for the last post for the night, in honour of the regretfully retired CC member Cruise Life Rick, I present tomorrow’s OFOTD.

It’s for the ultimate germaphobe.

Sorry for the rain. We r loving it. I live in palm beach county. It has been way to dry, so finally we get a day of rain. Happy sailing. Thank you for the live report. Going on oasis next month and symphony in June.

Following as we are on Allure in April doing the same route (not in a suite though!).

We are also staying in the same hotel, also booked with points, would you still recommend despite the wait? We are flying in from the UK that day so wouldn't want to be hanging around waiting for the room.

Hope you have a lovely trip, looking forward to hearing all about it!
