Another use of the crane comes to mind after seeing these Quantum of the Seas photos from its float out. To move a tug boat from outside to the stern of the ship.

That tug Gruno II may look small but she sure has power and has done a lot of these pushes in and out of the building hall.

That is very possible Lloyd. Thanks

I always use the vessel tracking to look for cruise ships and never think about tugs even though it’s for all vessels with an IMO.

I also asked because if I recall right, she and or her husband are Journalists and sometimes may get invited to these types of events.

@Tall-Cruiser, no, unfortunately Papenburg is about 7 to 8 hours from Munich and actually the fastest way to get there would be flying into Bremen and then take the train (including 2 or 3 changes).
