Odyssey of the Seas Blocks are in the House

An earlier rendering retained some Spectrum features up on deck 15 and 16 but now that she has floated out these appears to be very Quantum/Anthem/Ovation like.

The suite cabins with balconies and the outdoor area above the solarium for example.  Same with the jogging track - it appears now like her older sisters compared to the rendering.

Then there are the cutouts near the winchpad which did turn out like Spectrum and not as pictured in the rendering.

This upper forward area on Odyssey looks a lot more like the original non-Ultra QN class with jogging track old style.

No outdoor smoking "bus stop".  Can't see outdoor restaurant seating either.

Looks like on Odyssey there is a Lifeboat in the same position it was compared to Spectrum on the Starboard side. Maybe they will add it forward as there are only four Life/Tenders  compared to Spectrum with five at the forward part.

Booked on Harmony 12/28 & 12/5/2021 then 1/2 & 1/9/22.   Odyssey is not until 1/29 & 2/6/22 for us.  Sure looking forward to it, and hoping the cruise draught will end by at least then!!

Yeah the ship name and placement of the logo on the funnel thingy is off center 😀

Yet another difference with Spectrum.

And it doesn't look like they're going to give the top surfaces of the ship the rad paint designs that are in the rendering. That is unfortunate as it looks great from above (when in the North star or flying over  of course).

With help from some youngins, we've touched up some of the other changes to the rendering. Yes we have nothing better to do here at the Marchand household. I can watch Starship Troopers just so many times!!!  😝

So did I, and if I hadn't I was going to comment on that having already been installed in the pics you posted earlier (5 hours as of this post).  I notice some puffs of exhaust, they're already running engines, and I see the actual stacks don't protrude out the top like they do on Spectrum (unless they can be retracted and are in the down position).

I agree. The paint scheme shown on the renderings look very good. Since delivery is months away, they do have time to make some changes/adds. Let’s hope that is one they would consider doing.

Interesting stats.  Would balcony include JS's?  It would appear to me from the number Suites that JS's would not be included in that number.

The JS’s are included in the Suites. Total all suites including JS is 125. It also appears that Odyssey may have more JS than the other Quantum class ships. With the exception of decks 8 and 9, most of the mid hump cabins are JS’s with a few Balcony cabins.

Royal has typically included JS as "suites".  Just look at the numbers they use for Empress.

Having said that I'm too lazy to validate their count of any particular cabin type they are claiming.

More importantly have they started an engine?  Seems like exhaust coming up.
