The way I approach it is go to the cashier and say that I would like to take out $100 in cash to use at the tables so I don't overspend on my account while playing.  I think you get charged a 3% fee, so they charge your account $103 and hand you $100 bill.  At that point you can do whatever you like with your cash.

the $100 stockholder obc offsets this $103 charge?!

you actually saw this on the last day final bill on a cruise this year (2021)?

(I'm thinking you will see $100 unused obc listed, as well as a $103 charge to your credit card)

I used to go to the cashier in the casino , now i just sit down at a slot machine and put x amount on my account ..  You dont have to play a single spin if you dont want to . Just cash out and take the ticket to the cashier.  Why not go straight to the cashier ?  The cashier told me to please do it this way  😉

how long ago was this that it worked and the $100 shareholder obc offset it?

for my cruise last month, i had $100 shareholder obc plus $50 obc (non-refundable) for ncl skipping a port.

i used my room key to charge to my room $20 worth of tokens from the coin pusher machine in the casino. (i assume it's the same as charging to your room for a slot machine.)

On my final bill,  i had $40 worth of unused obc and the $20 in tokens was charged to my credit card.

Where would I see it posted? I sent my request Thursday before 11am ET. (I did receive the automatic reply that NCL received my email.) Haven’t seen another email. TIA!

Thanks all. It was posted this morning. I was just a bit worried because it seemed others were getting notified in less than 24 hours.

December/January pre-covid..  To be honest I've had it go both ways . It seems that the accounting department onboard is inconsistent in their bookkeeping . Ive had nothing but Non-refundable OBC and it went towards the onboard service charges. Thats not supposed to happen . Ive also had the casino charges work with both RF and Non-Rf obc..  Although I usually charge my acct closer to the end of the trip . Maybe that has something to do with it .  All I can really assure you of is , NCL backroom accounting is super inconsistent .

I submitted the paperwork for the shareholder benefit and got the auto reply that they had received my email request. The next day I received an email amenity confirmation that said "item  # TG 50" the quantity was one at $50. My wife also received the same benefit. Is that the $100 obc for shareholder credit or something else? I thought the obc would be $100 in my name since I own the shares. It doesn't matter really, I just want to make sure I'm getting all the  obc I can.

Thanks,

Tony

That is your shareholder credit, they did the same on my last cruise (split it).

I have a B2B coming up. I submitted the Shareholder Benefit form 2 weeks ago. For cruise # 1  I have  $100 obc. For the second cruise, I have $50 obc and my wife $50 obc. Neither one says anything about it being shareholder benefit. Could it be something else and my shareholder benefit hasn't been applied yet? Or maybe it has been applied to one but not the other? I am not expecting any other obc besides this.

Confused.

that is normal. it depends on how they process it causing it to be spilt between guest 1 and guest 2. the onboard credit will show up as non refundable onboard credit and will not say anything about shareholder benefit

On our vacation summary it shows we each have the $50 obc nonrefundable but does not show a code.  How do we know if this is our OBC from shareholder benefits?  We never received a confirmation.

as bookbabe suggested ask for your invoice/cruise confirmation. they should be a promo code for the benefit

I had a delay 2 weeks ago, sent email received case # auto reply then nothing. Usually see OBC shortly after. I emailed my case # back to shareholder email, got a new case # and OBC was in account within a hour. Good luck

Was just going to ask the same question.  I sent in 2 requests on 1/21 for 2 cruises, both to Mexico.  One was processed the next day, crickets on the other.  The processed request was for an April cruise, the missing one is also in a couple of weeks.  I originally thought maybe they thought I'd sent duplicate requests so I sent in another request on Sunday - still nothing, other than the autoreply with a case #.

Contact them. I submitted two and they ignored the second one. They fixed it as soon as I resubmitted the second one.

I did resubmit on Sunday but still nothing.  I'll give them a couple of days, then go with all caps in the message line, since it is time sensitive.

Does anyone have a good link for the application? I'm having no luck at all finding it. In the process of looking, I read that there is an online application similar to RCCL. This was a couple of years old so I'm wondering if its still used. Thanks.
