Crazy increase in price of cruise

Recommended Posts

I will be doing my first B2B in april 19, 2020 on adventure of the seas. (Second half is april 25)

The price of the april 19th cruise is outta control. An inside cabin is $1300, for a six day cruise 🤤.

Although i am so glad i got a great price, booking almost 2 years out. The big question is what the heck.

Its not easter week, or spring break. Any insights?? And how do i figure out if it's a charter. On this cruise we will be diamond for the first time.

Supply and demand.

You may get a hit on the possible charter if you do an internet search using the full name of the ship and the sailing date in different forms

April 19, 2020 is Eastern (orthodox) Easter.

Kids not a problem , we hang in adults area. Solarium, bars, casinos.

Usually here in ny, weeks off rotate around the holidays. Eg: presidents week  ,easter week. And easter is april 12.

Would be totally fine with kids, rather than a charter that might take over parts of the ship.

Lots of kids = lots of washy washy. Lol

Just went on the website and saw an inside listed at $1,924.  Then I realized that since I am in Singapore it gave me the price in Singapore dollars, but that translates to almost $1,400 USA.  Gotta agree it is an outrageous price to pay for 6 days insider to Western Caribbean.

Thank you Merion mom, did have a chuckle over that.

I paid $2464 for a js, (for 2)and that was after a price reduction in october. With $200 obc. Price also dropped a little in nov, but no obc.

The cruise is still over a year out, but for the price to double in 3-4 months. 🤤
