Rare h20skibum Posted April 24, 2019 Author #253 Share Posted April 24, 2019 You know it is a bad sign when the farewell cake shows up. What is even worse, is how fast it disappearsEveryone must have attended this seminar today Maybe that means I won’t have to start that diet after all. By my calculations, I would have lost at least 50 pounds this cruise[emoji23]Past Reviews post 184

jamscckmc Posted April 25, 2019 #261 Share Posted April 25, 2019 Thank you for your live review! Can't wait to get aboard tomorrow. Could you please post the time you dock and when you get off the ship. I'm assuming since you went through customs in Charleston you don't have to go through again. Rare h20skibum Posted April 25, 2019 Author #262 Share Posted April 25, 2019 You know it is over, when your ride is waiting before they tie the dock linesThe ship tied up at 7:00, and we were off the ship at 7:30, doing a walk off with luggage They just waive you through. No need to go through customs, or have your passport outSince you disembark on deck 4, this would be a bad cabin location. All the passengers stack up in the hall, waiting to get offPast Reviews post

We did have to show our passports, but the CBP agent just looked at our photos and sent us through. We didn't have a wait at all. I think for Bermuda cruises they usually don't bother since that run just doesn't have the possible issues that others do. No one goes to Bermuda to shop lol. At least not to get cheaper cigarettes, alcohol or jewelry.

Our next cruise is July on the Independence. We have a 14 night from Southampton, visiting Spain, Italy, and France with a post cruise stay in LondonI will do a few periscopes, but will probably do a report after, instead of live. Nessa1dc Posted April 25, 2019 #274 Share Posted April 25, 2019 Thank you so much....we just booked the Grandeur for August 2019 in a OV....its been awhile...we are normal Balcony people...I am a bit stressed about, but we should be fine. We are Diamond Plus and Prime members. I understand that the Casino doesn't open until the next day after embarkation and closes early on the day before arriving back to Baltimore? Is that correct?
