This is a great photo of what NYC actually looks like today. Grey, low clouds, rain.    Thank you for your reports and have a safe trip home.

The poster of this question has been asking on other threads as well...they seemed very determined to find out the captain lol!!

That's what Cruise Critic is for! 😁

Radio,

I enjoyed reading this "live". Will check back again to see more.

Have a safe trip back home.
Please let us know when your next cruise is so that I can get the coffee and biscotti stocked.......nothing like settling down on a rainy day with a Radio review, with biscotti and coffee!😀

Thank you for taking the time to do this!

We give our thanks too and have enjoyed the ship pictures to help us "plan" for our Independence Day cruise.

Separately, and unrelated to this, I wonder about when Celebrity will action "Move Up" requests, and also the situation on the cruise port parking garage/surface lot.   I will be searching on those themes on the other threads.  I suspect Move Ups will happen just before the cruise as Celebrity balances revenue generation with "good will" :-)

Thanks for all your pics!

I used a Google Pixel 3 and a GoPro Hero7.

I was wondering, do you see the Statue of Liberty when sailing in or out?

Yes, you can see it.  Here's the view when docked at Cape Liberty (the Statue of Liberty is not that close, I was zoomed in).

Just wanted to add my thanks to your wonderful posts all week long. This time next week my family and I will be on the Summit beginning our cruise to Bermuda.  Your posts have given us an introduction to the Summit and I've changed my packing list multiple times throughout the week as I've looked at your photos of the people around you and how warmly or not they were dressed!!

Hello everyone and good day. . . I got off of the ship at about 9:45 and was through the Terminal and in my car by 10 AM. Wow, I really like the use of the facial ID instead of waiting in line for a Customs agent. This process, called "biometric exit," involves taking a photo of you when you arrive at the Terminal and comparing that with one when you leave. It is intended to ensure that each individual who arrives at a Cruise Terminal is the same as the person who departs on the same itinerary. U.S. citizens can request an alternative document inspection instead. I read that it is currently in use at Cape Liberty, and Port Miami, Port Everglades, and Port Canaveral.

I arrived at my Hotel and watched news for a couple of hours, and will grab a bite to eat a little later. Celebrity Summit left Cape Liberty and is on her way to Bermuda. I am hoping that Summit passengers have beautiful weather as I di while in Bermuda.

Here are a couple of images from Debarkation. . .
