Since Royal and Dreamworks parted company, interested in what folks are finding on the various ships of the fleet regarding parades?  Parades, no parades, what type, etc?

 We sailed harmony in May and they had a  cute parade highlighting the celebrations throughout the year, Valentine’s Day,  St. Patrick’s Day, New Years etc.

Parades on board started in 1990's before the Dreamworks connection

Well aware of that, but after years of Dreamworks, every ship in the fleet will need to have a new parade installed.  It doesn’t happen overnight and just wondered what folks have experienced since the change.

Dreamworks was not part of every ship with a Royal Promenade.  We've been on several different Voyager class ships that had two or three parades per 7-night cruise, none of which were Dreamworks.

No parades on Adventure in April or May.

Great parade on HOTS, as stated above....none on Anthem.  Anyone know about the Oasis?  I'm sailing on her next!

Yes, there are parades on Oasis.

We were on Indy in May and I never saw any parades (but I may have just missed them!).

Wonder if 4-nite Mariner will have one.  Anyone know?  This will be our first time in a Promenade room.  Always wanted to try it, just hoping we aren't kept awake with all night with noise.  I saw a Compass from May that showed a 70's night and an 80's night, but I don't remember seeing anything about a parade.

Following along.  We’re on Allure in October and I’m curious if they’ve replaced Dreamworks characters with something else.

Yes, we were on the Harmony with the Madagascar Penguins and a few months later on the Harmony,,,, we got Baby New Years instead. Poor Penguins got fired.

12 Royal cruises and have never seen a parade.  Must be hangin in the wrong places.  Are there marching bands?

Not worth going to anyway. They don't throw anything.

 Oasis class ships have a parade once or twice a week.  The parades are clearly noted on the app/compass. The parades  are very well attended.

No marching bands, but plenty of music.

Meh. Probably will skip the parade this time around since they no longer have the Dreamworks tie-in.  Kinda surprised they didn’t just partner with another kid-friendly company, like Nickelodeon or Hasbro.
