Happy Hour?

Does anyone know if they have a happy hour on the Equinox?  We were on Holland America last fall and loved being able to go enjoy the piano bar before dinner with a discounted glass of wine.  We're hoping Celebrity has something similar.

What I think you were asking about is a time of when the price of drinks is discounted. Generally you don’t find that on Celebrity. Once in a great while you will see a discount hour from 10 to 11 PM. Much more rarely, much much more rarely you will see an adternoon deink special hour poolside.  Like five beers for the price of four. But as to a 5 PM cocktail hour special, no.

Get the premium drink package and have a Happy Week.

If Elite or above on Captain's Club they have happy hour each evening except the first or put free drink coupons on you SeaPass.

With so many passengers having a beverage package as a perk there is no incentive for Celebrity to offer a "happy hour" discount.  But there is usually a "pour of the day" simple mixed drink which will be listed in the Celebrity Today.

This is our first Celebrity cruise so we are nowhere near Elite!  Thanks for the suggestion though.

Celebrity does offer a drink of the day each day that is discounted.  But as suggested by a previous poster, get a drink or wine package if you can.  The "art" auctions give free champagne and typically has a auction daily.  Also the captain has a party and some drinks and wine are served free at those functions.  Also join the captains club prior to your sailing.

You can also bring on board 2 bottles of wine for your stateroom.

Pour a couple of glasses for yourselves before heading down to the lounge.

They will charge a corkage fee if you bring the bottle to dinner or lounge but I think its ok to carry one glass with you from your stateroom.

The closest you will get to a happy hour (discounted drinks) is the Pour of the Day.  As mentioned, it is listed in the daily paper.

Currently on the  Summit and there have not been any Daily Pour drinks offered.  

They have advertised a Sip & Savor.
