Interesting about April. We had a $285 drop on Navigator. And it is just a 5 night in a JS.

As before, standing on main street with my 10,000 BFFs with Main Street packed from one end to another.  When was the last time anyone muttered the words "social distance" anywhere?

Here’s the Youtube video on the whole fireworks show.  At first when I watched it from home in preparation for the trip, I wasn’t impressed with the music selection as it didn’t feel “classic” like the old Julie Andrews narrated shows of the past but after seeing it live in person twice, the rock music works surprisingly well with hundreds of people singing and dancing on Main Street.  Very festive

Impressive.  Did you know where this was in the show so that you were ready, or did you just get lucky (or a combination of both)?  It seemed to appear out of no where.  And thanks for posting the video.  When you said rock music, I was thinking something like AC/DC Thunderstruck. 🤣🤣  I actually like what they did with the electronic dance remix of Let It Go, and I get a little sad every time I hear Robin Williams singing Friend Like Me.  That guy was just a genius.  Going from Mork and Mrs. Doubtfire to Good Will Hunting and Dead Poets Society...what incredible range.

 

Since I mentioned AC/DC, here's a completely different sidetrack for this thread.  Iron Man 2 with Shoot To Thrill is still one of my favorite movie opening scenes.

While we were in Southampton pre-cruise we watched a number of ships leaving.

Disney Magic was impressive but Regal Princess played a lovely tune all the way down the Solent.

We did make it through. 

 

Glad you made it home safely.  We're heading out in the next hour to our dentist on Staten Island...a one and a half hour ride when there's no traffic.  We are hoping to avoid flooded streets and highways🤞

I've been hitting refresh button, as per I think Ocean Boy(?) suggested and it works every time;  although yesterday CC told me I should clear my cookies (I know they don't mean for my to clear my plate...I love certain cookies..lol)

Nice!!  Love it when they "sing" while leaving port!!   Used to hear it from our old house in Merritt Island.  🙂

Absolutely!!  We took our grandchildren there ,,wow..it's been 10 years already?? anyway, Ryan was 2 years old, and we have such a wonderful memory of him running away from me at the picnic table, his face was covered in ice cream, he was wearing a bucket hat, and was laughing gleefully as he kept running...2 year olds run really fast!!!!!

It’s the driver’s mom’s birthday today!  Some got up early and went to the Patio for breakfast.  When they came back they brought me breakfast in bed. Eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, sausage, and toast. They also brought me pancakes that I gave to my oldest daughter.

My youngest daughter and her husband we’re going to go to Cedar point amusement park today. She woke up this morning at 6 AM with a bad kidney stone pain in the back.  Needless to say that trip was canceled. This is her and husband playing shuffleboard yesterday with "the driver’s " sister.  She was already feeling it coming on yesterday but it is keeping her in bed right now.  I am hoping it doesn’t get to bad.  When she was in college she had to have one removed.

Sorry she has to deal with that. Kidney stones are no fun. The one I had gave me the most severe pain I had ever experienced. Hope she passes it quickly.
