Passport trumps any other id. 
That’s all you need unless you plan to rent a car in one of the ports.

Well, after the day I had, I finally got to take a test.  And wouldn’t you know it was positive. 

 

Now that kind of positive I can deal with.  We stopped at a tiki bar, and they must have thought I ordered a light and calm, instead of a dark and stormy.  
 

 

 

Oh, we also had two of these. 
 

 

Looking forward to a relaxing, stress free day today. 

Haven’t decided if I should do a “live” for Allure.  Everyone’s attention will probably be on the new kid on the block (Wonder), and twangster’s review with 360 camera views. 
 

At least it is 70° here this morning, instead of 14° back home.  And my son wondered why we came down early!!🤣🤣

Survivor is next week with just "regular" people.

Over here they stopped Survivor with non celebrities probably about 18 years ago. Since then we've had 'I'm a celebrity, get me out of here' which is every Autumn and usually filmed in the Australian jungle/outback. For the last two years they've had it in a half ruined castle in Wales which in Nov/Dec is pretty cold. 

The presentators are a very popular duo called Ant and Dec. 

I did love the old concept of Survivor though

Should of been on Allure Sept 2020 in the Med but that didn't happen .....

Greg, these are the ones I have, and I swear by them.  When I flip the switch, it blocks out everything for me, except what is streaming from my iPad.

We got our Covid test yesterday. Have a 1230 boarding time. If you wander by the Pub at 5, we will be enjoying our happy hour drinks.  I have a blue  Rollator outside on the promenade.

Thank goodness for my Bose QC headphones.  I was completely oblivious to any noise on the flight.  When we landed, Susan asked me if the kid in the seat behind me, who screamed the entire flight, bothered me?  I heard none of it, so things are looking up. 

 

I had booked our Covid tests at Walgreens near our hotel.  So we walked over to get our test done, and they say “You have to be in a car to take one of our tests”.  

 

“We are staying right here, we don’t have a car”

 

Them “You will probably need an Uber”

 

Seriously, an Uber to drive in a circle around Walgreens for a half hour?

 

So we ended up with no tests at Walgreens.  Ok, I brought some eMed tests for backup, so we will try those later.  

 

Ok, so let’s pick up some wine at BJ’s.  I have always been able to get it in Florida without a membership.  Not so today!!!

 

Fortunately, I found a lady kind enough to scan her card, so I could get a couple bottles.  

 

Things have to get better, right?

I had a kid kick the back of my seat the whole flight on my last trip. I turned around and addressed issue with mom. She said since he is a kid she couldn’t control him. Seriously wanted to slap the Mom.

Does RI have the option to renew your DL online?     We have that here in PA where we pay the renewal fee online then they mail you photo card to take to the photo center at local DMV.

Yes, I renewed it online but that still gives the 60 day timeframe.  I printed the renewal confirmation so I have that for driving if I don’t get it before the expiration date.  Nothing was stated about a new photo so I’m guessing they just re-use the one on file.

I had that same pair of Bose noise cancelling headphones.  They worked really, really well...until something happened to the cable.  I wasn't very careful when coiling up the cable to put it in the case and I think I damaged it.  I could jiggle it at the end that plugs into the headset and sound would come and go.  At the time, replacement cables were ridiculously expensive.  Be careful with your cable!
