Favourite Cruise Drink...

As Michelle is missing her favourite cruise tipple and as we were supposed to be on Britannia on Sunday, I thought I would get the ingredients to make her a raspberry creme brulee'...

What the heck is Chambord???

I was going to order it from Asda for our next 'knock and run' delivery, but I suspect they would swap it for a tin of tomatoes or something...

What drink are you missing and what is your favourite venue to be enjoying it in...

Good choices Steve..

Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc or an Old Speckled Hen beer for me and a Pina Colada or snowball for Pauline.

Any bar on a ship will do.

Andersons sounds good.

I think we will have pre dinner drinks in the Crows Nest and nightcaps in Anderson's Graham..

Frank's drink is Peroni draught in Andersons.  Mine is JD honey, splash of soda no ice. We're also partial to a Tia Maria with our after dinner coffee. Not forgetting the Zinfandel during dinner of course. 😉  Or should that be draft? Never could get that right😕

Anderson's sounds good, we normally end up at the Crows Nest at the end of the night

Pina Colada, G &T or a Long Beach Iced Tea for Elaine

John Smiths Extra Smooth or Old Speckled Hen for me.

Wine: Shiraz Red  or Pinot Grigio

If on Aurora, we tend to do the Crows Nest pre dinner and Anderson's after.

On the bigger ships, our pre dinner tends to be the Atrium as we love to people watch..

Reading through these posts and something has just struck me. 12 cruises 5 different ships and never once been in the Crows Nest. We always tend to wander into Andersons as it's more convenient for dinner and theatre.  Has to be rectified on our next cruise. Find out what we've been missing.

Andy Chambord is available in Asda. I think it's about £7 for a small bottle. I always keep it in stock as my favourite tipple is a French Martini.

Yeah, but knowing my Asda it will be swapped for a tin of peaches.. 😊

Saintly Sea Breeze mocktail, with Elderflower Fizz mocktail a close second  (teetotal!)

In the Piano Bar on Arcadia watching the world go by inside and out.

Sounds idyllic, we don't need alcohol to have a fantastic time.

Michelle's daytime tipple is often a mango mule..

Oh Avril, you need to go.

Nothing better than a pre dinner cocktail, facing out to sea with some pleasant live music in the background..

For me it’s got to be the crows nest and a porn star martini for pre dinner drink and on boarding day it’s a bottle of Ice Cuvée Rose’  in the glass house .

Yes, what a way to start the cruise.

I'm usually stuffing myself with 4 desserts in the buffet while you are doing the Classy thing..

Don't judge me, I couldn't make up my mind... 😊
