AndyMichelle Posted April 15, 2020 #1 Share Posted April 15, 2020 As Michelle is missing her favourite cruise tipple and as we were supposed to be on Britannia on Sunday, I thought I would get the ingredients to make her a raspberry creme brulee'... What the heck is Chambord??? I was going to order it from Asda for our next 'knock and run' delivery, but I suspect they would swap it for a tin of tomatoes or something... What drink are you missing and what is your favourite venue to be enjoying it in... Andy

Adawn47 Posted April 15, 2020 #12 Share Posted April 15, 2020 (edited) Frank's drink is Peroni draught in Andersons. Mine is JD honey, splash of soda no ice. We're also partial to a Tia Maria with our after dinner coffee. Not forgetting the Zinfandel during dinner of course. 😉 Or should that be draft? Never could get that right😕 Avril Edited April 15, 2020 by Adawn47
bobupandown Posted April 15, 2020 #13 Share Posted April 15, 2020 Anderson's sounds good, we normally end up at the Crows Nest at the end of the night Pina Colada, G &T or a Long Beach Iced Tea for Elaine John Smiths Extra Smooth or Old Speckled Hen for me. Wine: Shiraz Red or Pinot Grigio Bob

davemorton Posted April 15, 2020 #16 Share Posted April 15, 2020 Years ago they used to do a cocktail that you could only get in Sindu, had raspberry on the bottom, was in a tall glass. Anyone any idea what it was, as they stopped doing it on later cruises.
showingdiva Posted April 15, 2020 #17 Share Posted April 15, 2020 (edited) Saintly Sea Breeze mocktail, with Elderflower Fizz mocktail a close second (teetotal!) In the Piano Bar on Arcadia watching the world go by inside and out. Edited April 15, 2020 by showingdiva
Adawn47 Posted April 15, 2020 #18 Share Posted April 15, 2020 Reading through these posts and something has just struck me. 12 cruises 5 different ships and never once been in the Crows Nest. We always tend to wander into Andersons as it's more convenient for dinner and theatre. Has to be rectified on our next cruise. Find out what we've been missing. tartanexile81 Posted April 15, 2020 #19 Share Posted April 15, 2020 Andy Chambord is available in Asda. I think it's about £7 for a small bottle. I always keep it in stock as my favourite tipple is a French Martini.

Yes, what a way to start the cruise. I'm usually stuffing myself with 4 desserts in the buffet while you are doing the Classy thing.. Don't judge me, I couldn't make up my mind... 😊 Andy 1
