Are you notified when a refund has been applied?

I'm waiting for a refund on a cancelled cruise and also a refund on cancelled air flights. I used two different credit cards and am wondering if I will get a notice when credit is refunded. Kind of a pain to keep checking the websites of the cards to see when the credit is applied, am wondering if I will get an e-mail or something to let me know

No notice, you need to keep checking your bank

Everyone is waiting to find refund customer zero, so we can see if it spreads from there.  It looks like Disney is the only cruise line that has issued refunds so far.

Checking for refunds has become a morning ritual.  Just like playing in the casino onboard, we continue to be disappointed.

My Citicard allows me to set a notification when I receive a credit to the account. See if your card has the ability to do that.

Scenario:  You're waiting on your refund and it's now been a few months out then RCL declares bankruptcy, what then?

According to the form that RCL provided to get the refund it indicated 45 days I do not see a bankruptcy before that. If it does occur I will dispute the charge with my card company.

Chargeback or section 75 with your credit card company.

Thanks, I had to look up what a secition 75 was. I think that's for UK citizens....maybe the US has something similar. I would seriously hate if that happens.

Visa and MasterCard do section 75 for anything over £100.

I got our money back after Flybe went bust .

Received our refund today for a 3/27 canceled cruise. Requested refund the day it canceled- 3/17. Our cancellation stated 30 days but via chat with RCI on a different site, they said it was 30 business days from the request. It hit today with tomorrow being within the timeframe. All things considered, we are pleased.
