Royal Casino Club Royale

Recommended Posts

i moved all my cancelled cruises earlier this year to jan and feb of 2021. now i am starting to think those ones wont happen either and it annoys me. i am from Minnesota so i fly down for 7 day or longer cruises and do back to back. but it seems like when cruises starts up its going to be short cruises and small ships.this really sucks because club royale is not letting me move my current cancelled reservations. so if this keeps up i wont sail at all in 2021 im pissed. i spent a lot of money in the casino to earn these free* cruises!

In what what released rcl considers under 10 days short. I had  b2b, 7 and 7 in feb and was nervous but wasnt  casino cruise so I could move it.

There is another thread about casino cruises you might want to read thru. I only saw one person offered beyond January or February. It's at least on page 2, so give it a read.

I also spent a lot to get a b2b2b on Anthem in Nov. that was cancelled. Within the last hour an agent told me they are now not offering any replacement cruises only credit or refund.

I think All of us clubroyale members with comped cruises just hope that they will continue with some nice offers as soon as they successfully start sailing again.   They are going to want All of us back in the casino!    The offer I received yesterday for a JS was for 3 and 4 night sailings on Mariner and Navigator, which sounds like that will be their first ships out the gate.     I am from PA and not about to fly to FL for a 3 or 4 night cruise.    But I did have a decent offer the other day for next fall and was able to turn one of my other comped cruises into a b2b (hopefully we can do b2b's next fall).

Wish I was as optimistic as you as when the offers first came out I jumped all over them because how good they were as I've never seen them THAT good before. Some long timers in the casino thread said they've never ever seen an Alaska comp before this year. After that last promo, the offers have clearly gone downhill and I'm seeing different writing on their wall from 6 months ago till now and I believe justifiably so. I'm sure they expected to be back in business at a certain point in time and each month of missed sailings equals 250M in cash+++ gone in smoke along with our comps. From their end they know the cult cruisers will still be first in line to get back on and most of the comp cruisers stocked up hard(4-6 7+nite sailings) so those loyalists have technically been taken care of but they will be playing with fire with this strategy if those comps continue to get cancelled. My hope is that with enough anger/disappointment from us they'll change course and bring back the one of a kind pandemic specials but I'm not holding my breath.

At this point I'm more curious how has everyone else's offers been on other cruises? I've received a few from Princess since the shutdown but nothing near what Casino Royale has offered within the past 6 months. May need to take this portion to the general casino thread but maybe we can use it as firepower in our calls.

Casino offers from Hal have been nothing worthwhile Imo.   Yes I booked one of those Alaska sailing for next June.  That is the first time I ever saw or received a list like that for alaska sailings.

Let's all remember how upset we were in march/april when we were losing our comped cruises and possibly our tier status.  Over time that all worked out

I think right now the casino offers are going to be for the 3 or 4 night sailings for this winter to make sure they have casino members on board to help their revenue.

We may never see 12 night offers like the one I have booked for 12.7 on anthem that will be cancelled and sure I'm disappointed and sad as I live that itinerary.  I think that offer came april maybe may. I dont remember right now.

As of right now I have 8 casino comped cruises booked for 5 to 9 nights and 2 of them we turned into b2b sailings for next fall.   And we still have 1 more annual prime to book.

Overall I'm happy with offers and suspect we will see better offers once they start sailing successfully!

In my opinion they shouldn't have made any offers until the no sail order ended and cruising

I think thei casino marketing is doing the right thing by sending out offers regularly for sailings from april to october 2021 is good strategy to keep us booking.  I dont think any of us thought last april/may we would still be under no sail orders.

The most recent offers received this week for free JS or balconies on 3 and 4 night sailings on navigator and mariner for jan and feb I take as a sign of what they hope will be sailing.

As you only have to pay port fees and taxes unless you upgrade your cabin, I see no harm in their offers.  It helps them retain casino members.

They do need a pipeline of customers, though.

For the most part, the comped cruises currently being offered or recently offered are not the same as the certificate cruises you earn while aboard the ship. These are free extras. They are gravy, designed to reward past customers. If they get cancelled, so be it.  I lost one in August, will probably lose one in December.

Casino Royale has been very generous in extending our Prime benefits and our annual free cruise into 2022. I appreciate that.

i agree because the cruises that were cancelled earlier this year that we moved will be cancelled as well. because my guess is only 1 or 2 ships short cruises small ships will sail dec-feb

i think they allowed us to move our cancelled cruises before up until end of feb because they knew those cruises would be cancelled as well. because when cruises start back up whenever that is... it will be gradual. one or 2 ships smalls ships short cruises. and alot of us moved our bookings to longer cruises.

My husband’s 2019 Prime cruise was not used due to the cruise shutdowns in March 2020, so it was reissued and has to be used by March 31, 2021. However, the Annual 2020 Prime/ Signature cruise has been extended to March 31, 2022.  Hope that helps.

Aside from my Diamond+ and Casino Royale offers, i have been enundated with free cruises via email and regular mail.  I am thrilled, but cautious to to book until I see an actual ship in the water!!

I wonder if the free offers will stop when the ships are sailing again.

Also for my husband, his March'20 annual (masters) was cancelled-so we rebooked it for

Dec'20. Just called his host & they have not extended it-still needs to be used by Mar 31'21.

He suggested we change it to a later one. He said there wont be any extra charge, except if any difference in the port chges. So may change it this week,  to a Feb'21 one.
