Grego Posted January 29, 2021 #8 Share Posted January 29, 2021 (edited) Maybe we can get Port Everglades to pull up some recorded videos from a year ago showing a then typical Saturday or Sunday at 4:00pm of the fleet leaving the port. Better yet, maybe some of our CC folks can post some video of their leaving the port and passing the condos with the flags and air horns blasting away! Of course, we WILL be able to do that first hand in May of this year! Ourselves will be on the Caribbean Princess May 15th bound for the Western Caribbean!! UBETCHA!! ps. If not then we will be on the first ship out after that...... Edited January 29, 2021 by Grego

If the Alaska voyages are still in play seeing that Canada is still reluctant to have folks come their unless they quarantine, the ship would be going through the Canal with or without passengers. So hang in there and I hope you will be sailing then because so will the rest of us.

Our next cruises after that are the Royal Princess on May 29 from Anchorage to Vancouver and the Sky Princess Baltic R/T Southampton on June 12. Like you, we'll keep booking until one sails.

Yes, but the CDC will not allow a ship in USA waters on a cruise more than 7 days in length.

Daniel A Posted January 31, 2021 #18 Share Posted January 31, 2021 You can re-live a prior sail away in 2011 to 2019 from Port Everglades here: Port Everglades Webcam Sail-Away Replay This will only work for departures before 2020, otherwise for dates after that, you have to use a pay for site.
AF-1 Posted January 31, 2021 #19 Share Posted January 31, 2021 love the photos. It makes you smile when you see the ships in port. I know most are sitting just off port. Someday we shall sail again. Hang in there. Cheers

Daniel A Posted February 19, 2021 #21 Share Posted February 19, 2021 I've sailed on both CB and Star Princess. Over the years, I've seen many positive posts about CB but I don't really recall seeing such attachments to Star. Is there a reason why so many prefer the CB so much over Star?
