100viper Posted June 3, 2021 Author #2 Share Posted June 3, 2021 I’m assuming this means any sail dates before those test cruises are unofficially canceled. 5

Now I'd like them to officially cancel the Allure July cruises so we can get our money back.

Just spitballing ideas.

ATLfuzzy Posted June 3, 2021 #12 Share Posted June 3, 2021 I'm July 17 on Symphony. Now let's see if RC will *NOW* cancel it. This ship is definitely not sailing mid July.

MrK1ttens Posted June 3, 2021 #15 Share Posted June 3, 2021 We’re supposed to be on the Symphony on Aug 7. Chances are low I suppose now that we’ll be going. I’d really appreciate it if they would just cancel on us so I can make separate plans.

TLG40 Posted June 3, 2021 #17 Share Posted June 3, 2021 Guess that means all of July on Allure will be canceled ? I was hoping they would do the test simulated sailings earlier in July - we are booked for July 25 on Allure

HicksRA Posted June 3, 2021 #21 Share Posted June 3, 2021 Since this news was “hot off the presses”, I’d assume it’ll take a day or two to start cancelling affected cruises….
ZoeyVictoria Posted June 3, 2021 #22 Share Posted June 3, 2021 My August 2 Mariner is probably going to be canceled - next month sometime 😢. Not happy with the dates for these test cruises.
UNCFanatik Posted June 3, 2021 #23 Share Posted June 3, 2021 Terrible customer service and PR by Royal and Michael Bayley. Joyfully announce test sailings for 2 ships without first cancelling cruises in July and August and notifying customers affected. That announcement lacked any empathy or concern for paying customers who really thought they were sailing in July on those ships. I expected it because logistically it came impossible for Symphony to sail on July 17th, my sail date but i feel bad for those customers who are less informed and dont keep up with cruise news
