Cancelled for the 7th time. Giving up on rebooking. Will reapply our August 15th- August 29th B2B to our other three cruises. Enough is enough with the  cruise regulations changing day by day. See everyone who’s sailing on Freedom out of Miami December 12th- December 26th, 2021.

That's a huge bummer.  I am sorry.  I've had to rebook 3 times, but 7  times is beyond frustrating.

6th sailing for me.  Hope you will be doing a live review, in case I am not excited enough by then and need a boost 😂.

Last week, I booked the Sunrise for August 19 and lucked out on that one also.  And the Horizon in October.  Feel like I won the lottery!

Definitely. I’ve got a resort first…a week from Sunday. Then in August back to cruising. Mardi Gras, Vista, Glory, ?, Celebration, Magic.

Excellent news! My 08/07 cruise out of Port Canaveral is still on plus I get upgraded from the Elation to the Magic! 🥳🥳🥳

We were looking at cruises in September out of P.C. We liked the itinerary for the Elation, but preferred a larger ship.  We ended up booking on the Sunrise out of Miami instead.  Would much rather be on the Magic, but I just looked and they are not allowing any bookings for P.C. in September.

Great news for you and TNcruising02, happy for you both!  What about Tom?

I'm glad my Pride sailing is September 12, and not in August.  I'm surprised Pride is not sailing in August.  Usually big money in the Pride casino...

It looks like you just missed the cancellations!  September was a lucky choice for your sailing.

Thanks, and it was a casino offer, I think we paid $532 incl. tax & port fees for extended balcony on panorama deck.  Wish I had another offer like that right now so I could shop for cruises to scratch my cruise itch.

Many people are disappointed, like my DH and I who were planning on celebrating our 30th anniversary on a July 1 cruise out of Charleston.  The cruise was cancelled and we booked another wonderful celebratory trip on land for that special occasion.  Plans change and you can pivot, right?

If 2020 taught me anything, it was the value of being able to adapt very quickly!

Carnival must feel optimistic neither the law suit nor the Florida law will interfere with cruising to make the announcement today.

Good point, seems like they might have had a sneak peak about where the ruling will fall, and want to rub it in Desantis face, assuming they found a workaround for the $5,000 fee.

Your cruising pattern seems to be the same as ours - always a Christmas cruise in early December, then one in Feb/March, skip the summer, and cruise again just as soon as schools are back in session in late August/early September.  This coming year will be different as we take “makeup” cruises as well as the normal ones.  I think we will just leave our luggage open in the guest room, I mean packing room, from August until next June 😂

Don't worry next week it will say something different.carnival flip flops every chance they get.

I get your frustration but it's fluid, if they said nothing people would complain too. They deserve a bit of slack, I'm sure it's just as frustrating for them as well. There is much to be happy about.

I think the August restart plan makes perfect sense and is fully in line with what Carnival has said for many months. Two ships each from Miami, Port Canaveral and Galveston.  Plus the bonus of LA to the Mex Riv and Seattle to Alaska.  Heck, that's more than some cruise lines when at full operation.

Exactly. Just before spring break. Just after summer break. And thread the needle between thanksgiving and Christmas breaks.

Please, please those of you on the first sailings come back and write about it!  I’m perishing for some cruise reviews to read!

Rcl leaves from Nassau, closest to the usa sailing so far, tomorrow. Most of us waiting to hear how that goes. Close but not usa, but it's something.

I thought Nassau's Cruise area was completely torn apart with construction?

Trying to think as Carnival would....if Baltimore does restart in September, does anyone have a suspicion that they’d swap the Legend in early? Does it make sense to run the Pride for 6-8 weeks out of Baltimore before moving it to Florida?  Or would they just bring in the Legend for the restart and move those of us booked (we are for Oct) over to Legend?
I don’t think Legend has anything before Baltimore in November. I’m not sure where it was supposed to be before that...was it Europe?
