Hitchhiker’s guide to cruising - Serenade Live

Recommended Posts

For those interested… the opening drink ended up being a Strawberry blonde.

I’m now on #5

Sitting in the centrum and enjoying every minute of this.

only irritation is Windjammer closing to soon. I went at 330 -and they were closed. I should have remembered that that was the case but it is still an irritation. Got a little food at Lattitudes that should keep me until MDR.

Except for the wearing of masks in hallways and when walking to different indoor areas this feels exactly like a normal cruise.

Weather has been good so DW hasn’t even been inside except for a moment to check out the room

Tracker can be worn anywhere on your body.

switching to Vodka sodas with a solace of pineapple .

The strawberry stuff is going to send me into insulin shock.

music in centrum is a mix of 80’s and current top 40.

having the time of my life.

need to stagger up to the room and get a batter backup.

Liberty does not have Latitudes.

Never mind, I see TS covered it.

When I was on Serenade, years ago, they had pizza in the solarium.

Very nice cabin!

Thanks, I love it so far. Perfect place for a relaxed and private sail away. I didn’t see any in Solarium when I was there.  I’ll keep looking.

If you could do me a huge favor and find out if a Waitess, Grace and her husband, also a Waiter Diego are onboard I would greatly appreciate.

Last time we were on Serenade feb 2020.  She was a server in Giovannis and he was a server in Chops.  They are awesome.  If you do meet them, let them know Debbie and Eric said Hi and have been thinking about them.

Previously she was a head server in MDR and we always asked for her table.

TY 😊

Congrats on your return to sailing!  I'll be following closely.

I'm starting to get that 'something very exciting is going to happen' feeling and I'm still 2 weeks out.  Covid test scheduled today and dusting off the suitcases - it's starting!

No questions - just please enjoy every moment of your return to cruising.

Dinner in the MDR gets a B tonight.

we both had the French onion soup.

I had the Prime Rib she had the salmon. Mine was a B+ hers was a C+.  Sorry no picture of the salmon. DW refuses to participate in food porn.

Dessert for me was my favorite crime brûlée. Sadly, it was a C-. DW had the key lime pie. She gave it an A. 18AD609C-6348-4D5A-857F-155997A1C388.thumb.jpeg.26de2effa1c69d30c7eb104e15c408a8.jpeg

Overall meal grade B. Service was good. Vaccinated was deck 4. Deck 5 is empty. I haven’t seen one kid who looks under 12.
