Rare oskidunker Posted October 14, 2021 #1 Share Posted October 14, 2021 Was on the Millennium and was told they no longer do Bingo. Certainly not interested in the no deal game show so did no gambling. Is this on all ships?

Northern Aurora Posted October 15, 2021 #3 Share Posted October 15, 2021 During the pre-covid era I think, if my memory is correct, that Celebrity did offer bingo, although we never participated. Is my memory wrong? Or possibly the ships are sailing at such a low passenger count they don't think they would have enough interest?
WestLakeGirl Posted October 15, 2021 #4 Share Posted October 15, 2021 They used to have bingo for sure but I guess they are trying this out. If you want bingo to come back be sure to let them know
Susanb10567 Posted October 15, 2021 #5 Share Posted October 15, 2021 It appears they replaced Bingo with Deal or No Deal…very disappointing to me at first it seemed it was only on the Edge but it looks like they replaced Bingo on the rest of the fleet as well. trippe1075 Posted October 15, 2021 #7 Share Posted October 15, 2021 We sailed on Edge in September. There was no bingo. I did point out in my survey, that in light of the average age onboard, bingo probably would be better attended than deal or no deal. Just my 2 cents

Rare cruisequeen4ever Posted October 19, 2021 #19 Share Posted October 19, 2021 Bingo is one of my favorite cruise activities, and I am not of the older age bracket at all. Deal or No Deal would be really fun, too, but as an addition, not a replacement. I do remember that celebrity used the wooden cards on our 2017 cruise so not compatible with Covid. Maybe they will switch to disposable paper.

Thats good to hear. I enjoy a game of Bingo on Sea Days. It a nice way to relax for a bit. I don't understand how Deal or No Deal could be played by more than 1 person at a time, unless its radically different that the TV Version. Can anyone who has seen it on the ship comment on how its played.
Guppy99 Posted October 20, 2021 #22 Share Posted October 20, 2021 so... a) everyone buys cards same as bingo b) one person is chosen to "play" c) player picks a suitcase d) player plays just like on the tv show, e) banker offers 0-$1,000 dollars based on what is left on the board f) meanwhile, audience gets to check for any matches on their card this part goes so fast, you don't know if you have matched anything. If you did have 5 matches or more, then you may have won some casino credit. In order to ind out, you have to take your cards to the casino g) this is repeated from a to f a second time with a second passenger/player This is very frustrating, not fun, and not worth even checking to see if you won any casino credit. Check-in takes so long, the wait is longer than the play time.

Hopefully by our Feb 2022 cruise Bingo will be back. Edited October 20, 2021 by drowelf

Sunny Pearl Posted February 12, 2022 #25 Share Posted February 12, 2022 I LOVE THE BINGO!!!!! Brings back fond memories of my Grandma. I MISS THE BINGO. I thinks it's more fun than Deal or No Deal. I hope Celebrity considers bringing it back soon!!! Don't know what this "Fast Bing" is, but it's listed on my up coming Edge cruise next week. Keep posting for BINGO. Maybe they'll re-issue the game. - Sunny
