Re PTZ Cruise port cameras

After quite long absence of not looking at the cruise ports.  - I was surprised to find out now I would only be allowed to look for maybe 10-12 seconds at the port , before being cut off. of course one can log back , but sure is a nuisance!  Looks like they would like us to subscribe and pay an annual fee.

I just watched several of the PTZ cameras and I am not seeing what you are reporting.

Watched for several minutes each with no problem.

Might you be having internet problems?

Do you have an adblocker on your computer?

I look at several of the ports on PTZ almost every day and haven't had any problems watching for even extended periods of time.  I am using my desktop PC with Microsoft Edge.

Some of the ads are slow to load.  If you don't have an ad blocker that may be the problem.  You may need to reload a few times before an ad gets though and then things are back to normal.

 

Nassau is particularly tricky on this.

I had the problem a few months ago. I resolved it by disabling my ad blocker for the web cam sites.

I've only had problems when there are many hundreds of viewers at the same time, as during a special departure.  Then it reaches a max, and I lose contact completely.  Otherwise, no problems.

Because I was curious, I just tried again with the ad blocker on and the camera cut off in under 10 seconds.  With the ad blocker turned off, everything was fine.

 

I used Chrome, Windows 10 and AdGuard.

Thanks everyone!  Do think the AdBlocker may be the problem.  Never though of that before!

Definitely an adblocker issue. I have mine turned off for the camera sites and no issues after that. You have to do it for each camera site, i.e. FLL, Port Everglades, etc.

My adblocker has a whitelist that I've added the webcam sites on.

Sorry, I know nothing about iPhones.

 

EDIT:  I found this online:
