Having trouble finding a long cruise for this summer .Would love something like H.A.L.s epic journey type trip , if you know of any please help us .We are open to almost anywhere Thanks

Are you looking? I am on an 18 day HAL cruise this summer. The day we get off the ship goes on a 24 day cruise. These are not B2B cruises...they are one cruise.

plenty of longer cruises   or just  string a few shorter one together

Where do you want to go ? how many days?

A lot of European itineraries are longer cruises

Try the search feature at the top "FIND A CRUISE"

We are booked on B2B 14-day cruises out of Southampton in late June to late July.  First cruise to Norway/Iceland and the second cruise to Baltic States.  HAL has a 24 day that is similar but shorter and more expensive.

dolittle: time for you to move up to Oceania. With several segments of the current ATW cruise reconfigured, there’s cabin availability.

I suggest 36 days consisting of two segments: ARN-LIS (starts 5/30/22) and LIS-NYC (ends 7/5/22). Or just select one. Note too that Oceania currently has a four category sale going on (though I doubt these cruises are included).

BTW, remember that O fares include air (or an air credit), internet, beverages, specialty restaurants and a perks choice of SBC, booze or tours. And Insignia (ship doing ATW) carries a max of only 670 passengers!

I think that the decent itinerary longer cruises are a temporary victim of COVID and port closures/restrictions.  And if you are limiting yourself to only 1 or 2 cruise lines that further complicates the matter.  FF mentions "O" which is an option although it can be sometimes difficult to find space on their limited number of ships.   I do think the best bet this spring/summer is to string together several cruises (i.e. back to backs) in Europe.  We simply decided to book a month long Seabourn cruise that includes a transatlantic (we love lots of sea days and crossings).  Other cruise lines also offer some longer cruises that involve repositioning.  We have long loved the repositioning cruises because it saves us the cost/hassle of flying round trip to Europe and there are times that we actually book cruises both ways (to and from Europe) which might be on a single cruise (such as when HAL had their Grand Med voyages) or a combination of cruises which leaves us with a few days or weeks to spend in Europe.

Since you specifically mention HAL (at the moment they cancel too many cruises for my taste) you might consider that where HAL often markets longer cruises (broken into multiple shorter segments) some other lines market shorter cruises that you string together as back to backs.  It is similar to HAL's longer cruises but is just marketed in a different way.  So, for example, with Celebrity you would look for 2, 3 or even 4 cruises to string together for a nice long voyage.

Also do consider that if you go to Europe you can book several cruises, sometimes from different ports and spend some land time getting between those ports.  A simple example would be to find a cruise that ends in Civitavecchia and perhaps take a later cruise from Piraeus.  To get between the two ports you could use air (combined with some land days) or even a multi day ferry trip.   The only limitation is your imagination and spirit of adventure.

Look at itineraries for Cunard and P&O ships out of Southampton, because the ships often do a different destination on each departure- it could be the Med followed by Norway/Canaries/Baltic. If you booked the same cabin, it would be similar to a longer cruise apart from the return to Southampton in between.

HAL is doing the Voyage of the Vikings this summer.  One way or round trip.  Princess is also doing the North Atlantic from Southhampton and a Greenland voyage roundtrip from New York (these are listed under Canada and New England)

Go on each company's WEB site and do a search.  You can specify cruise location and cruise length on your search.  There are other options on other cruise WEB sites but we are not allowed to mention them on CC.  You will have to go onto the WEB and find them yourself.
