Reminds me of the "hole" in Promenade on Harmony....but that is occupied by the rising tide bar.  Perhaps original plans to put one in...bombed?  Just WAG on my part.

Indeed they do, Bucky does the "peace sign" wave.   Seems to be most of what we see.   Long time Jeep owners are more prone to give a friendly wave, versus new owners (who may not be aware).

I guess I can see why they do it, especially if someone tries to to take advantage and overindulge with  3 dinners from 3 different restaurants at 5:30, 7:30 and 9:30. 

 

Not sure what I was thinking when I said 3 different restaurants. That should be okay. Just can't hit up the same  place 3 times a night.

the recipe I’ve seen for Aperol Spritz is with Prosecco. I wonder if it would taste better with that. Next time see what they they are using and if cheap champagne maybe ask if they have Prosecco. Thanks for your hard work taking one for the team!

Yes I’m confused what the rules are for the UDP. Can you eat at multiple restaurants in the same day?  Say like a appetizer at one restaurant, mains somewhere else and a dessert at another. That may be overkill but I’m curious.  I’m sure you would need reservations right at each restaurant?

I don't remember seeing a hole on sister-ship Liberty but I haven't sailed her since 2018.

 

EDIT: Isn't there a stair case that would take you directly from Royal Promenade to the photo gallery, which was between Boleros and the Casino (on Liberty)? If that spot is now occupied by Playmakers on Indy, they probably had to remove the staircase. Just my WAG.

I didn't think too much of it, but on our 12/21 Indy sailing the staircase leading down there was marked as closed the entire time.

All Oasis ships have been closed since we started sailing again. Heck, it may be gone on Oasis. Seems one had it removed during drydock

The Freedom Class had two staircases down to the Casino from the Promenade. One was down in the middle and the other is/was over by the Cafe. The one by the Cafe would dump you off in the Photo Gallery. I’ve not been on Indy since they put Playmakers in, but looking at the deck plans, they used the Photo Gallery and the aft entrance into the Casino which had a couple tables to make the restaurant.  So, they took the stairs out and just made it a hole in the Promenade.

Spoke with bartender in casino 

 

Most of Playmaker's was the photo gallery. Which makes sense because photo galleries used to be huge.

 

A small portion was the entrance to the casino. Remember the glass walkway.

 

Still a few slots here
