Yes we booked June 2021 (last year).

I believe it will be OBC...cash out in casino I think. I'm sure someone will come along with details on how to do this.

With the new price confidence can they still give me an adjustment in price even after final payment? We board in three weeks. Price difference is $1000 for the cabin.

Yes, you will receive the difference in OBC

Let us know how that worked out.  I was told the time limit was over and they were not doing the OBC any longer...or at least that is what the rep on the phone told me on a recent past final payment price drop  on a cruise I booked 8 months ago.

As everyone said "yes".  I just got back $499 myself and it was applied to my onboard account immediately.  Note however that you need to use it up on the ship or lose it; you won't get a cash credit.

I believe that's what's known as a "good problem."

Also, I have read that you can actually cash it out via the casino somehow. Someone will explain I'm sure.

I knew I could count on you guys. 👍

Yes...I did too...just couldn't remember on the steps to do this in the casino.

I hope this method will also work on Celebrity when we cruise with them May 2023 they gave us a lot of OBC when our original cruise was covid cancelled to rebook.

It seems to be less straightforward on Celebrity, but possible.

It didn’t work out as I got a category 2D balcony (deck 8), the better price is in a category 4D balcony (deck 10).

Sorry to hear that.  It woukd have been nice if the rep explained that to you the first time you called.

Slightly on topic, if we booked a cruise prior to April, then in mid-April the cruise was chartered and we took offer to move to another cruise, does the original cruise purchase date still apply, or are we now stuck with the April date as our booking date? Everything else transferred over (e.g. OBC).

If your reservation number stayed the same then you are covered

I had 110.00 left on OBC...input on slot machine to cash out...but thought.   "Hey, won't hurt me to gamble 5.00  of it ".   One spin...kept spinning...and spinning.  Thought there was something wrong with the machine (already had a bad one I tried first that they had to fix).

So this now showed 221.00 balance!  😮  My eyes bugged, then I quickly went to the cashier to cash out.  😉

Booked before April also but between my TA and  Royal Caribbean I did not get a price adjustment nor an OnBoard Credit. Needless to say losing about $ 2000 that Royal Caribbean is off my list of cruises to book. Also noticed that their price for Internet and Excursions is more then MSC or excursions on Costa (not aware of internet-rate on Costa), so all-around NO for Royal Caribbean - not that they will care 😞😀😞
