B2B wine question

We have a b2b booked on discovery princess next spring and I am wondering how many bottles of wine I can bring on board.  Would they allow 6-8 bottles? Thanks!

Yes, if you pay corkage.

non-corkage fee bottles to be consumed in cabin 😉 but nothing stops you from filling a glass/tumbler and taking it with you to other places on board the ship 🍷

Sometime if you arrive early enough the collection table to collect the corkage charge isn't even set up at yet. 😏

per segment ...  some have reported getting to bring the bottles for both legs at embarkation without corkage fees

You can usually bring on additional bottles at distant ports without having to pay corkage fees. They're very lax about collection or holding any bottles till the end of the cruise.

My point was that poster said 'two bottles per adult' I thought it was per cabin.

Each person gets one bottle per cruise. So, 4 free bottles without corkage.

Have to show proof of 2nd cruise.

The collection table is no where near the security scanner, they just tell you to declare it, why would you bother.

It used to be at T2 in PE.  Not sure if layout has changed since C-19.

Yes, this wording is correct.  I have done this for a B2B2B in the past and NP.  Just charged up for the rest of it (24 - 6).  As things played out, I never did have to end up paying for the "free" ones.

I have been sailing solo on a lot of cruises. On my b2b Alaskan cruises, I brought on 2 bottles and showed them my boarding pass for the second cruise to prove I was staying on so they would not charge me the corkage on the second bottle. That was back before the app, though.

Very often they're busy with people & you can walk right by without a word being said....of course if you insist on them taking your money, they'll oblige. 😄
