OK thank you. I was watching a video with 10 tips for cruising with MSC and they said there was an additional 5% for seniors but I've never heard anybody say that on here.

 

Unfortunately I didn't check the date the video was posted and I can't find it now.

I'm 80, and in my 3 cruises and a 4th booked, and have never gotten a "senior" rate.

There is a discount for under 25s but I don't know about over 65s

As far as I know MSC only makes Voyagers Club (fidelity membership scheme that includes status match with other cruise lines), casino membership scheme, below 25 years old, ex military (US) and medical professionals discounts. They had effectively a senior discount scheme, I believe for the 60+ individuals far back in the day. You might have seen a video of that, but very old one, because as I remember they stopped that promo after my first cruise with them back in 2007. My parents enjoyed that on that cruise, but not anymore from the next cruises from 2009 onward!...

My brother in law’s travel agent got him a discount for retired educator. None for his age 75.

We got a discount on booking yacht club for seniors think 10% this is the Uk and only booked a few days ago.No mention of the champagne etc. But happy with the senior discount as wasn’t aware of it.

When I booked our cruise a couple of months ago I asked if they did military discount. I was told they’d stopped doing it, but we got some kind of senior discount.

Yes, it may! MSC works differently by the market. For example: In the US or UK most promotional offerings give you the Easy Plus drinks package and WiFi included with your booking. Here in Portugal you hardly get a promotion with baseline Easy on selected sailings only, or small charter groups. Similar with the seniors...
