Insert room key card into slot machine (or tap in if machine has that feature).

Set up your casino account (initial pin is MMDD of your birthday).

Do cash transfer from room account.

Cash out ticket.

Remove room key from slot machine.

Take ticket to cashier (or machine if it is working).

ANd remember your pin as it stays with you from cruise to cruise.

If you cash out $100 it will cost you $5, unless your status in the casino is Prime or higher.

Prime and higher has the 5% fee waived.

Waived Casino Convenience Fee (5%) for Cashless Wagering on SeaPass® Prime, Signature & Masters

That does not apply if you’re just getting your obc out.
That $5 fee is if you are charging $ to your ship account

How do they freeze your account...like you cannot spend at all....would you help clarify? Thanks!

What I read is that you will not be able to charge cash to your room charge on the slot machine, for 24 hours.

Example, we transferred $1000 from room to casino. Only wagered $200. So can I still cash out the remaining $800 from the casino cashier? They can't freeze my money and not allow me to use the remaining $800, right? I'm just confused.

If you are onboard, go to the casino cashier or to the casino host and get clarification. I have been charging just $200 at a time, and I play it down before I cash in the voucher.

They freeze you for 24 hours so you can't CHARGE another $1000 on your account. You are free to cash out the $800 ticket at any time.

The comment a few up makes a good point for clarification. We are talking about how to cash out OBN (non-refundable). If it were OBR (refundable) you don't have to do anything to get it back .. it will go back to the credit card on record. But you can get it in cash if you don't want to lose points when a refund posts, or if you trust Royal's account department about as far as you can throw 'em.

Another way to get OBN (and this isn't a better way, just another) is to purchase promo chips at the cashier. Then play roulette playing even bets. When you win, set real chips aside and continue to play until all promo chips are exhausted. Then cash in the real chips. Odds are you'll get .. what .. about 90 cents on the dollar?
