Thank you so much! You went over & above! I owe you a drink(or two or three....) if we are ever on a cruise together! I would have peeked in the door also! I'm thinking it may not be a good room? What is your opinion?

You are most welcome! If there are other choices, I suggest taking another cabin. Besides that “crew only” next to you, as soon as you turn the corner, that is the storage room for towels and other items. Cabin stewards in and out all the time with their carts.

Thanks! The room they "upgraded" me to is C411- a sideways cabin. Think I'll stick with that. you have been so helpful! Thank you!

We had a balcony dinner tonight and it was amazing!

The full moon was an extra perk!

Dinner last night at Sur was delicious and one of the best filets I've put in my mouth. 😜

Ricky in crooners will take you on a cocktail adventure

I agree also that Sur had one of the best filets I have ever eaten.  We were disappointed on the Discovery that Sabatini's no longer uses white table clothes.  It felt a little bit like a diner to us compared to the usual Sabatini experience on other Princess ships.

I am so sorry to be catching up to you so late.  If I was more on top of things (very long story), I would have made contact with you much sooner.  I am picking up friends at 11 when the Sapphire arrives in HNL.  It would have been so much fun finally getting to meet you and showing you around.  Hope you get this message, anyway.

@HBCcruisersorry to divert your thread. Please forgive me.
@cr8tiv1  OMG yes! When do you drop them off? We could at least spend a few minutes at the port. We are in Honolulu late. Please email me at Jacqueline (dot) Faris (at) yahoo (dot) com.

Questions about the 360 Experience.

Is it age restricted?  My nephew is 16 years old.

I am in Sky Suite for the NYE cruise with my sister and her family.  I am reading that there may be a $150pp charge?  Is that true for the folks in the Sky Suites?

Thanks!

Not sure if there is any age restriction. Probably not since I saw a few people refusing alcohol.....However you would be missing out on really great wines and champagne. I heard it may be more than $150 but nonetheless well worth. And yes, from what I hear it's the same price unless comp'd from the casino.

Thank you.  I think we will skip it!  It will cost another $750 for the 5 of us to go.  We paid enough for this cruise.

No Princess aren't charging from the outset for 360 according to their press release - it's invite only if you are in a suite, book a future suite or are involved in VIP Casino gaming and retail event sailings. I would have thought this would still be the case on your NYE cruise if they aren't rolling out until late Jan  on Enchanted.

After experiencing 360 as part of a trial almost two weeks ago I had heard that they would charge $150 per person and shared it here.  That turned out to not be the case and they have announced that it would be complementary for suite passengers and some others.  As for the age limit I am not sure.  But would the 16 YO enjoy a 7 course meal from the Mediterranean?

That’s great news!

Yes my nephew will enjoy it.  He is very mature and loves new adventures.  Geography and history are his passions.  He also enjoys learning about other cultures and trying different foods.

Absolutely, yes. Our child is like an Anthony Bourdain when it comes to food and culture, and even started a Tastes Around the World club at their school, with the goal of exposing everyone to different foods, not just the 'junk food' which has lived on kids menus for years. It has opened the eyes of many in our community, in a positive way, starting to partner with local restaurants, as today's children are tomorrow's future. Still has their mind blown when they see burgers or chicken strips ordered in the MDR.

There are two different Sabatini's, with two different menus. The former, with the white tablecloths, is Sabatini's. The newer one is Sabatini's Trattoria, which has a much more casual feel, is what is on the Discovery Princess.
