All is good.
Breaking even is a great cruise.

😊

But I'm sure the cruises you come home with a bag full of $$$$ are a lot more fun !!

Not happy to hear Royal Caribbean allows this behavior. Want to cruise with my grandchildren soon but second guessing if royal handles this bad behavior properly

I suspect, or at least hope, that Royal has tracked down these girls and has had a conversation with them and their parents.

Royal is known for doing things discreetly.

I observed once how they handled a guy in the casino being escorted out.   Very low key.   I only knew he was being escorted out because I was the one that reported him to casino mgr.

I can only hope this is the case.

Maybe Lioness can give us an update.

Just got the email.

on our September cruise Labadee canceled and going to Nassau.

😔

We are on Freedom in September and got the same email.  I was hoping for either Puerto Plata or Grand Turks but oh well, we will make the best of it.

No update.
But security is now walking the halls late in the day.
They travel in pairs. Just like us girls when we have to go to powder room we travel in pairs.

FYI.
Trying to confirm fact vs. rumor.

Regarding headliner show.  Apparently not booked far ahead due to contract negotiations. Some are independent and get snagged quickly that are good.

Most are represented by a  company.       ( cannot say union ) but are given positions by their manager.

The individual acts are negotiating for better every thing.

But book at last min to keep the money coming in. Others taking a break.

Im on it.

Like I said do not know. If true or rumor.

Clarifying

So at breakfast in WJ saw officers in their morning wear.

So one goes to me how is your cruise going so far.

Of course I responded great and then I go I have a question. About above.

So I’m asking why announcing performers is later than usual.

He said he would get back to me.

So as I was eating he found me. And his response is they know acts for over 8 weeks. They usual are assigned for a week and jump from one ship to another when their 2 day or more stint is done.
For example the acts in theatre namely headliner. And sometimes groups. Like bands usually are on the ships for longer periods.

They are not having any problems booking entertainment. In fact. All acts eager to work.

Rumors rumors rumors.

I believed him.

Take care.

We are spending the night in Cleveland.

Very late to the party...

Where do you stay in Cleveland? I fly in/out of there for work fairly often and struggle to find a decent hotel close to the airport.

PART ONE

Good afternoon from Curaçao

Woke up to pre ordered breakfast from room service.

We were group 12 for the turtle swim and met in studio B.

Very organized led to an outdoor line.
Tickets collected.
Off to large van like taxi cab which easily seats 12 adults.
30 min ride to turtle location.

Boarded boat. Safety talk. Fitted for fins mask snorkel  vest.

Jump off boat from a couple feet up.

So

Rough waters.
Waves a tad to high for my liking.

Turned in gear.
I just. Chilled on the boat.

We had about 30 on excursion.
A tad crowded.

About 45 min for those who did it.

No turtles

One stingray.

Back to shore.

This was a newer company RCI used.
Technically the old one was better.

But
Boat was older.
Not enough seating on first deck.

PART 2.

Upon returning to the ship and getting to the area to get our sea pass swiped.
2 security guards escorted thru the badge area a family of adults and children with their luggage.
The did not look happy.
The family was very quiet and one of the children was very upset to the point of crying.

I know I will never find out the circumstances.

Be safe.

We did the dive ship where the ship goes underwater but you can see. Some saw small turtles but missed me. They fed the fish once and we saw some coral.

Curacao for me that excursion to see what was in the sea was a bust. Not really a submarine. Going back next April. I want to see the ostrich farm at curacao. Good reviews.

Was she a teenager from the hallway escapades? Would be interesting if it was. I still would love to know what happened to cause them to be escorted off.

Stayed there one time. Highly disappointed.

Very few choices for park and fly.

Hampton not giving any discounts.

Marriot garden can only get over priced outer building.

For one night.  We can handle.

I FINALLY REALIZED WHAT IS MISSING ON THIS CRUISE.

No more (((((BONG))))))) when they scan your sea pass to leave the ship.

Wonder when that changed.

That's why when you get on and off the ship now, the guy behind the podium says things like Welcome back Jim, Welcome back Donna!........no dings.
