It's my own fault, since my strokes I furniture grab rather than use the cane or walker, my hands are grabbing but my feet are doing something else I guess.

DH did well on his first “indoor day at sea” and said at dinner the cruise seemed short. (Agreed).

All of it looks delicious.  One of the bloggers I follow told me about the Cake Walk or whatever it's called.  And a few years ago they did the chocolate that you just described, I didn't really like it, so I doubt I'll like the Cake Walk either.  Remember when they used to do the chocolate extravaganza in the MDR?  Now THAT was worth attending!

@Cruising-along. I got my vaccine at the Fred Meyer in Burlington. You can call ahead and see if they have availability. They do close from 1 - 1:30 for lunch.

Here’s a few shots from the Cake Me Away event. The chocolate Lindt cake was delicious. Interesting, we’re getting the old HAL chocolate squares and not the new Lindt ones.

Good evening to all

I am sorry for posting so late.

I did not sleep well last night and then had to drive home today.  Prior to getting on our way we stopped at Costco and then Total Wine.  So by the time we left JAX it was noon.  

We had some rain but once we hit Georgia, the sun came out.  I was very thankful for that.

As soon as I got home, I put my feet up and fell asleep in the den.

We had dinner and just unpacked some of my things.

i am not long for this world tonight and will be going to bed pretty soon.

 

I am very tired and just need some sleep.  

Thank you all for your well wishes and prayers.

The news was not perfect but it was a lot better than I expected.  The best being that I do not need surgery.

 

I hope everyone had a good day.

I totally disagreed with the quote today.  Some artists are so bad at understanding the meaning of life, they name their art- Untitled.  I've been painting on and off for years, and I dont understand any of it.  I have never done an Untitled.

Thank you everyone for the well wishes. My brain is foggy; if I attempt to thank each person individually I'm sure I'll miss someone, so please forgive my lax posting and know I do appreciate each one. ❤️

 

I missed the early morning Ortho appt, which really blows as I was hoping to find out the plan for my knee (and possibly surgery) before next month's cruise.

The day alternated between working and dozing. Trying to stay ahead of the pain - hence the brain fog and inability to work for extended periods of time. I think I will take tomorrow off.😴

 

I already have an appointment w/urologist in 2 weeks & don’t think I need another prior. He was notified last night that I was in the ER and will get the scan, so I assume🥴 he contacts me if he thinks I need to see him early.

 

The port pictures have been fabulous again today; thanks to everyone for sharing them.

 

Cat update 🐈 moving around a bit more, still not drinking, eating fairly well, currently occupying his usual spot in my lap. Finished all his meds & goes to Vet on Sat for urinalysis. 

 

Prayers 🙏 and positive thoughts for all.

Hendon beach.

It is 4 miles from Seaham beach our usual and 2 miles from Sunderland city centre and Port of Sunderland.

Yes, I think that is correct.  My sister claims it is green. I think it is blue.  There are a bakes outside and inside and they are building a rooftop deck.
