Not a veranda at all. It is an ocean view cabin with a  large window. The upper half of that window can be lowered so you can get fresh air. However, it is nothing like a balcony.

Never stayed in one but I've viewed them and wasn't impressed. I'd only take it if free upgrade from an inside.

I’d pay more for the floor to ceiling window vs a inside.

We have stayed in a IV and it was fine, prefer a balcony for some itineraries but there is no way I would stay in an inside, even for free.

I stay in deluxe insides for transatlantic cruises as most times you can't open  the windows of the IV cabins also I sleep better as the cabin is completely dark at night.
