Did I miss the final question list Anne?

Lois, I am thrilled for you, congrads.

My question: aqua class and suites are directly under the pool.

Did Celebrity account for extra insulation to block out the extra noise which happens from chairs moving and deck washing sounds.

Cant wait to hear everyones stories.

Have a blast.

Maybe I am too late, but I would be keen to hear what they are offering for suite passengers - where will they be able to eat and will they for example also have access to Blu at no additional charge

Hi Daph, thanks:)

You did not miss it...the questions were not all posted

as a list on here but I believe Anne was compiling it

from her home;)

Just take a glance back over the thread:)

I really fought my husband on moving to Florida. Now I'm kissing him as we are going to the Solstice event today also. We are very grateful to Celebrity for including us.

Hi, :) which session are you going to attend?

Some of you are lucky folks. We are Celebrity Elite status (with 4 more weeks of cruising booked with "X" right now). We live in Central Florida and were born here. We didn't get an invitation.

I wonder what you have to do to be considered worthy of an invitation? We always had inside rooms on celebrity, maybe that's why?

I hope everyone who is fortunate enough to be invited has a great time.

I'm with Ken. I don't have that many cruises under my belt with =X= (6 total credits, with my last two cruises being concierge class, and a cc booked on the Solstice), but I wish I was invited. Plus, my boss is out for the whole month on vacation, so if I disappeared today from work I wouldn't be missed (that much). It's a two hour drive. <sigh> How I wish I was there. I'm as giddy as a school girl when it comes to this ship.

All of those fabulous pictures of the Oasis didn't help either. Here I was all excited about the innovations on the Solstice, then they come out with all of the Oasis pictures. It kinda took some of the luster away. Still, I've got four months to go before I'm on board. I can make it.

Im excited to learn more too ... so far we've only been on RCCL, not celebrity, but I want to give Solstice a try.

I think all of these neat innovations will see a lot of non-X people giving them a try. It's a good thing, in my opinion.

My BF and I are really excited as well. Our first Celebrity Cruise will be on the Solstice this January. The ship is impressive!

The food and drink samples were great! There really wasn't much information provided. Host Anne was asking a bunch of questions, so since I have a lot of work to catch up on here at work, because I played hooky for a few hours, I can't spend much time on CC. I did ask Simon Weir about the aft cabin balconies. He said that he thought they were the same as the other balconies. He kind of thought about it again and said he would check to make sure and get back to me. We took a lot of pictures of restaurant menus and place settings. It does look quite elegant.

Hi everyone,

Just left the 1 p.m. event as the 3 p.m. round was about to begin! We've posted a few preliminary details here: http://www.cruisecritic.com/news/news.cfm?ID=2677. However, stay tuned to Cruise Critic News as I'll be publishing a much more in-depth item later this afternoon!

While there was nothing "major" announced (and by major I mean to the extent of, say, the Lawn Club, which was a huge reveal for the line), it was a really great opportunity to see all of the elements that will make Solstice different all in one room -- food, products, etc. It was also a great opportunity for me to meet Host Anne, Lois R, and a few other Cruise Critic members! Here's a picture of everyone with head honcho Dan Hanrahan.

For whats been reported so far, about todays event, I am kind of underwhelmed. I hope more info is forthcoming.

Why would you be underwhelmed?

You can spend your money: in the on-board shops, on botox, on a "solstice" diamond and in a state-of-the-art casino. Fascinating event so far....;)
