FireMonkey Posted July 6, 2009 #176 Share Posted July 6, 2009 I am truely sorry to hear that this has happened to so many people. I had trouble with them last year in August. I came back to post my experience and my post was deleted minutes after I posted. After that day, I had not been back on this section of the boards, because I didn't want to be flamed for the trouble we went through. DBF and I were told that the US side of the company was not paying the side in Coz. And after some tears and some phone calls back and forth we went. Carrie told me that she was going to refund me and never did. I didn't want one, because we did go, but it was not the trip that was described to us. Sorry to hear that! I suggest anybody who has had any negative experience with Carrie and the TC company file complaints with the BBB and with the Clay Co Sheriffs Office. Hoping to get enough people in contact with them to shut these people down for good!
Daniel1313 Posted July 7, 2009 #177 Share Posted July 7, 2009 I had a horrible experience with these jerks but someone I am one of the lucky ones!!! Somehow I got a refund back in late March... Dan I bet they are reading everyone one of these posts. I am sure they are hoping this will die down...
FireMonkey Posted July 7, 2009 #178 Share Posted July 7, 2009 It wont die down until everyone who was ripped off gets their money back! If they are reading this I give them one guess to which finger I'm holding up!:D
PattyG12 Posted July 7, 2009 #179 Share Posted July 7, 2009 Athough I don't believe I'll get my money back I won't be happy till they stop what they are doing!! I don't want them to ruin some little kids vacation! They have several of their own kids. Wonder how they would feel!!

fanofcruizin Posted July 7, 2009 #183 Share Posted July 7, 2009 My Family also lost money by booking through this company. I think this is my first post but I have been reading this thread since April, after I realized I probably made a mistake by booking through them. I have contacted Florida's Attorney General, but they will only investigate if a large number of people have been affected and contact them. I will also look into filing with the BBB and the police dept. mentioned. We really enjoyed our day at Mr. Sancho's though and plan to return there on our next cruise. PattyG12 Posted July 7, 2009 #184 Share Posted July 7, 2009 I hadn't thought of the attorney general. I do hope you plan to file with the BBB and the local sheriff. If enough of us file, then they may do something.
Daniel1313 Posted July 7, 2009 #185 Share Posted July 7, 2009 Well they certainily ruined my kids vacation.... Even though I got my money back I would still like to put a noose around Ken's neck... Getting my money back still does not make up for destroying our day in Cozumel. Dan

I posted a review about my experience in October (which started the thread, by the way!). My initial post was removed because of the policy of not posting a review unless someone asks for one. Host Mach kindly asked and I kindly posted. :) We had a great day, with just a few glitches on the side of Tour Cozumel and I hate it that so many people have had trouble with them. I hope folks keep trying to get to Pasion Isle though, as it was a great day in Coz!
dna1990 Posted July 7, 2009 #187 Share Posted July 7, 2009 The orginal thread that introduced Carrie (to the best of my knowledge), is here: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=55918&page=39 The trouble posts start about two pages afterwards. Re-reading just a few of Ken's comments are sorta laughable now (no make that devious), knowing he and Carrie are together. Should have known someone so defensive was not just a cheerleader, but had a more personal interest in good reviews.
PattyG12 Posted July 8, 2009 #188 Share Posted July 8, 2009 Pretty sad. He pushes pretty hard .... Sigh. I guess Carrie was using her maiden name for her original bookings.

kwregg Posted July 8, 2009 #191 Share Posted July 8, 2009 Just sent in my complaint to the Florida AG's office. IMO, this could be the route that gets us the results we want - everyone should be sending their complaints. It's really easy - just an online form to fill out with your contact info and space to write in your complaint.
PattyG12 Posted July 8, 2009 #192 Share Posted July 8, 2009 Mine is filed!
fanofcruizin Posted July 8, 2009 #193 Share Posted July 8, 2009 The online form states that you will get a confirmation that your complaint was received. It did take almost a week for me to hear anything back from them. Maybe if enough people file a complaint they will start an investigation. FireMonkey Posted July 8, 2009 #194 Share Posted July 8, 2009 I hope that everyone has saved their emails and paypal/bank statements from TC. I've posted the links to these threads in the forms that I've submitted to the different law enforement agencies and to the AG. I'm hoping they look at them and realize there are a lot more people affected by this than what will actually file complaints.

kwregg Posted July 14, 2009 #200 Share Posted July 14, 2009 Here is my response from the Florida AG's office. Similar, but a little different.
