Live from the Jewel May 2-16, 2022
We are onboard the Norwegian Jewel from May 2-May 16 for a B2B Alaskan cruise.  We are Diamond Latitudes with NCL and have done this trip many times before as we live in Vancouver and are grateful to have a quick, easy and flightless trip to the port.  I am a teacher librarian and I travel with my dad.

Ovation of the Seas-Alaska-May 5, 2022-May 13, 2022
It's been a while since I sailed Royal (about 5 years).  But, I have sailed her sister, Celebrity, pretty often since the start up.  I don't know if "live" reports are as popular with the Royal crew as they have been with the Celebrity crew.  If not, I'll make this short an sweet and forego any real time reporting and planning.

Discovery Princess April 29th Coastal
I will attempt a live from, internet and CC permitting! If you are on this sailing, please feel free to add your posts!

Pre Cruise
This was not ideal! We have sailed medallion class many times before the app and loved it. Sadly, the app has taken away much of the pre cruise excitement and replaced it with frustration! First off, my perfectly good iPhone 6 was not compatible with the app. At that time, there was no web version to use and I reluctantly upgraded my phone (much to my teens delight as she now has the brand new iPhone 12 which also didn’t work well with the app).

ArcticKitty Tackles Alaska - Carnival Splendor 02-10 May 2022- Trip Planning, Trip Report, & Mehhhhbe Some LIVE From Since We Have This Thing Called Cellular Data Now

Hello new Carnival friends, ArcticKitty, a real Alaskan here. I love reading in-depth detailed to the nines trip reports, trip planning musings, live feeds, etc. The more the nitty gritty displayed the more I dig. I also enjoy the autobiographical background info that some folks slip in. I’m here to do my part contributing the kind of content I love to read!

Live Cruising Review Oasis of the Seas 5/1/22 - 5/8/22 Lots of Pictures!
The time has come for yet another virtual cruise.  This week I will be on Oasis of the Seas (aka my second home 😂) in an Oceanview room with complimentary dinning.  The prices have gone way up to the point I don’t see it as value to me personally since I have been to them before and was not overly impressed with the offerings and now it’s over $200 with a sale it’s a no go for me!  There will be lots of pictures as usual, lots of food and lots of my random thoughts 💭   As always, you got questions I will attempt to find an answer for you!

My Gastrognome and I had booked a CS on this little jaunt to the Fjords but having done three cruises last year in RSs and a PH I decided to bid on a move up. Not a big bid but a couple of weeks ago our number came up so we are back in an RS for this one. We have cruised in the Fjords before with our daughter and my amazing mother in law, “Dame Judy”. My daughter is now too tied up with her masters and sadly my mother in law passed away last year so this will be just the two of us.

On Board Le Commandant Charcot — Le Havre to Reykjavik — April 24-May 1, 2022 (Or are we?)
Hello from on board Le Commandant Charcot where we are currently in Cherbourg waiting until Tuesday for a late Diesel oil delivery. It is expected to arrive tomorrow morning (Tuesday, April 26) and fuel logistics are a small sign of the war in Ukraine, less than 1500 miles away.

Anyway, the switch to Cherbourg from Le Havre was a late change necessary because the ship needed a hull inspection and Le Havre didn't have necessary facilities. To compensate, Ponant offered a complementary bus leaving from Paris and picking up other passengers in Honfleur on the way to Cherbourg.

Live Island Princess FLL to LA
So far mixed reviews. Boarding quick and easy. Luggage at cabin before ship left port. Safe had issues, maintenance put in new batteries but real problem was the key paid only worked for a couple of numbers.

The minus medallion net is unreliable. Waiters couldn’t access the system for bar orders in the buffet or Good Fellows bar. Most people were done eating by the time their drink orders showed up even something as simple as water and ice tea.

Will post the abbreviated Patter when we are back in the cabin

Kmom Live-ish from Carnival Vista April 23-30, 2022
Arrived in Houston from O’Hare on American this afternoon and had a tequila sunrise with my yumzy dinner salad at the hotel.

Wasn't sure about a live review, but why the heck not? It’s just me and hubby for a whole week, for the first time in 16 years.

Feeling a bit wiped out from the long exhausting drag of travel day, which barely used to phase me, but at 55 I’m not the energetic whippersnapper I once was.

Live Voyager April 25 - May 5 🛳
We departed Hotel Sofia on Bus #2 at 11:30am today (15 minutes ahead of schedule), drove a half hour to the port, and made it through check-in, COVID checks and muster station check-in in roughly an hour and 15 minutes. Not too shabby!

The coach bus was half full, and we were not at all crowded in the terminal, or on board.
Lunch was open at the Pool Grill or La Veranda, and we opted to be outside in the sunshine.
Rooms were ready by 2:15pm, and at 3:05, all of our luggage has arrived.
Service has been friendly, attentive, and exactly what we would expect.

Live from the Caribbean Princess: Panama Canal - Apr 26 to May 14 - SF to FTL

Our last Princess cruise was in Jan 2020 on the Island Princess for 25 days on an Easter Island cruise which also took us through the PC “old locks”. We enjoy going to evening shows, playing trivia, going on ship excursions, and relaxing on our balcony, and I will try to post pictures of many of those experiences when I can.

Live Carnival Pride April 24, 2022 Tampa to Barcelona
We will be boarding the Carnival Pride on Sunday, April 24th for a 14 day transatlantic repositioning, from Tampa to Barcelona.  My last cruise on Carnival Cruise Line was in June of 1985, aboard the Tropicale, for a Mexican Riviera cruise.  This will be the first Carnival cruise for my husband.  There are only 4 scheduled ports along the way (Bermuda, Ponta Delgada, Malaga and Valencia), but we love sea days!  The ports of Malaga and Valencia are both new for us, and we look forward to seeing these cities along with a tour out to the Alhambra from Malaga.  Please follow along as we share our experiences along the way.  Please feel free to ask questions about our trip that you think we might be able to answer.

Semi Live from Enchantment of the Seas 4/22-4/30/2022
Hello everyone! Long time member, first time live threader here.

After seeing @Roguepersondo his live threads for a while now, I figured it was time to give it a go. My family of myself, DW, DD (almost 4) and DS (9 months) have booked this cruise to take advantage of the double points promotion and get the whole family to Diamond. Once the Double Points promotion was announced, I tried to come up with a combination to get from where I was just shy of Platinum to Diamond.

Whaletail Live from Magic April 23rd- May 1st taking on the ABC's.
Hello Everyone, Welcome to another of my live reviews. This time I will be aboard the Magic going to Aruba, Bonaire and then Grand Turk. This will be my first time aboard the Magic but I have sailed her Sister in the breeze.

Four days out I am taking my Covid test on Thursday I am fully vaccinated and boosted. Will be interesting to see how this goes since my last three cruises have been aboard the MG. And I know this ship is the last Farkas ship although it isn't quite as bad as some of the others.

Let the countdown begin to my 8 day adventure.

Live from Viking Sky April 20 - May 7 Venice to Istanbul
I plan to make daily posts, Internet willing. I have maintained a blog for all my adventures since my retirement in November, 2015. Some were with my wife, some not. Her adventurous spirit has limits.

As with many of you, this cruise was long in coming.  Originally booked to be a Russian River Cruise in April, 2020. Then it became this cruise, set for April, 2021. After another year of Covid, here it is at last. We did the Douro River cruise last August (for the second time), so we’re accustomed to spitting.

LIVE - A Symphony Cruise April 23, 2022
This'll be our third cruise since it restarted! First one was on the Celebrity Edge in Sept, followed by the Disney Fantasy in Jan.

We will be going on the Symphony on the April 23rd Western Caribbean and Perfect Day cruise. At CocoCay we will be having a Beach Cabana at Coco Beach Club, very excited about the views and food! First time there. My wife and I also have passes to the thermal suite all cruise, so hopefully it's not too crowded.

Regal Princess Live: April 16-23 Med Cruise
Thought I would start this since there has been so little information about the Regal since leaving Florida. Fellow cruisers, please join in.
I am traveling solo in an obstructed ( but not really obstructed ) balcony cabin, E420, which has a moderately extended balcony on the hump. Nice location and in good condition.
First good news is the night lights are gone! I was on the Regal in late November, the Emerald in late December and the Majestic in January and all had those annoying night lights.
I flew in today on Turkish Airlines from Miami through Istanbul. Flights went well. Long day though.

LIVE from Wonder of the Seas Transatlantic April 2022
Hello, everyone! You are all invited to join me in my valiant quest to bring the Wonder of the Seas across the Atlantic. It’s hard work, but someone has to do it.

My name is Laurie, I’m from Quebec City (Canada), and this will be my first cruise since the pandemic. You might know me from my critically acclaimed live review featuring my cat in the test forum (or not, I mean…it’s the test forum).

Just me and my suitcase hanging out.

I am fully paralyzed from the waist down, so I use a wheelchair full time to get around. This review will address the accessibility aspect of my trip and hopefully my experience will be helpful to someone with mobility issues looking to book a trip on this brand new ship.

Live from NCL Pearl Boston to Bermuda 04/15/2022
We made it! Terminal was a little crowded when we arrived @ 10:15 this morning.
Boston just seems to struggle with embarkation compared to Florida but that’s to be expected.

Took about 75 min from the time we entered the terminal and got our room keys. We were on the ship by 12:10

Had lunch at O’Sheehans and now we’re enjoying the hot tubs.
Staterooms were ready a little before 1 our luggage was there when we got to our room at 1:30.

Live Report - Jade From Athens 17th April
We are boarding the Jade this Sunday for a 7 day round trip from Athens.

I have done a few live reports in the past, and often post ad-hoc from the ship when not doing one. Given all the uncertainty regarding the restart of cruising in Europe I thought that this was an ideal one to do a proper live report from, so here we go.

Live 7N Discovery Princess Picture Review April 10, 2022
Excited to be on the Discovery Princess 3rd sailing.  I am trying a live review for the first time. Join me on the journey and ask questions.  I’ll try to find the answers to questions.  If you wan to see a picture of something specific let me know.  I don’t like cruise ship production shows and probably won’t see any.  If AJ Jamal is the comedian, I will go to his show.  I’ve seen him on Celebrity, Royal and Princess and think he is really funny.
