Vacation has started and I can’t wait to board the Regal Princess tomorrow for 5 spectacular nights. First cruise back on Princess since covid and I just can’t wait. First time getting an upgrade as well!

It's been a while. Have missed the sea, the ships, the adventure. Currently sat in the back of a Mercedes E Class on my way to Southampton. Nearly 4 hours in with one stop. Maybe 3 to go. Traffic hasn't been kind with the M1 partially closed.
 
Should have been headed to the Amazon on Jan 5th but that was cancelled due to Covid. Cruising with a friend we decided to take 3 of the 4 alternate cruises offered. Just as well as the people doing B2B who boarded on the 5th have not been allowed to continue to their 2nd leg. No explanation given.
 
Here's the route map for this leg. First stop Cadiz. Fingers crossed!

Got up this morning and played Holiday Road, to set the proper mood. Set Mapquest to Port of Miami, locked the doors, shut off the water and increased our home equity line of credit.

Why this trip.  A couple of things.  2021 was not a good year for me in a couple of ways.  I had a B2B booked on Empress, and had a couple of cruise credits that had to be redeemed fairly quickly.  Worse, 2021 was not a good year for me medically with a heart valve repair in the first half and a course of radiology for my prostate cancer in November-December.  That has sapped my energy levels so I wanted something with a low stress level.  This cruise fits that bill perfectly with barely a half hour drive to the port.

Hi all! 

I am heading out on MSC Seashore on Feb. 19 and can't wait, as it's 15 degrees where I live. What are you interested in knowing about the ship, the itinerary or what it's like onboard right now? I will be in the Yacht Club and our stops include Nassau, two days at Ocean Cay and Puerto Plata. I'll try to post some photos too, as I go along.

I'm Randi(female) and my wife is Julie.  We live in Santa Clarita, CA.  Julie is a Sgt with a large police department, I'm an attorney. 
 
I thought since this is our first cruise on O, I would attempt to live blog from the ship.  Honestly, I chose O because of the food.  We've previously had 4 cruises on Celebrity( only in Aqua Class) and 1 cruise on NCL( not a fan).  On our last Celebrity cruise in Sept 2019, I live blogged.  I posted a lot of food pics and I had a lot of commentary regarding the food.  Spoiler: Not impressed.

I'm starting this thread just a bit early as we prepare to get going soon.  As I type this, my wife and I will be picked up to go to the airport in about 36 hours.  This is our not only our first Princess cruise, but our first 15 day cruise!  It's also our first vacation since Dec. of 2019!  So we're definitely excited and anxious for this cruise!
 I hope to post pictures and comments often!  Regardless, I'll definitely will give an overview of this cruise once I return.  
 Here's our itinerary for this cruise!  My liver is already complaining about the four consecutive sea days.

I'm gonna try my hand at this, I will also be doing a vlog of our trip, so I will have tons of video and tons of pictures for this thread.

We travel out to Fort Lauderdale on Feb 25th, once we hopefully get "Negative" COVID tests. (That's the only thing that can derail this train)

Enjoying a back to back on Allure of the Seas 19-27 Feb 22. Am told 3216 cruiser’s on board.

We are having a nightmare of a travel day today - AA cancelled our flights at the last minute.  Rebooked on United -- itinerary awful -- but we will get there.
We arrive in Barbados tomorrow (hopefully) and board Moon on the 22nd.
 
I will post from time to time with information that might interest you -- remember I did a rather lengthy report /comparison from the Moon in November - and I will certainly answer any questions or find out for anything you need to know.  I realize now that Crystal is likely no more, interest will be higher and specific information more important.
 
I will be on an Ipad so long posts are out of the question.  I am happy to do this and as I will spending many hours on the ship, not on shore, it is not an inconvenience.

We are Dave & Anne from Essex in the UK. I'm in my 50s , Dave was 60 in Sept & this is a kind of belated celebration trip. Between us we have 4 grown up kids ...lots of grandkids and  we have a 20yr old daughter together - ( she has no wish to or interest in cruising) . I'm the planner...Dave is the go with flow ...occasionally take an interest ....eventually realise we are going on a holiday .....person !!

We are READY for our Presidents Day Getaway on the Navigator!! My DH, BIL and I are ready to sail this Friday out of LA to Ensenada Mexico. We need a little FUN after dealing with COVID-19 and work issues these last few months caused by the evil forenamed virus. PLUS how exciting that Royal finally returned to SoCal!  🥳.

I have just arrived in Santiago at 1:15am today and met very nice Ponant staff at the airport. I was taken to Ritz-Carlton that Ponant prepared.  It was very exhausting flying all the way from Bangkok. At least I have 1 whole day in this hotel to rest. Anyway, all the covid procedures at the airport were long. I wasn't expecting lines would be that long during midnight. It took 2.5 hours to go through and collect my baggage.

First day aboard Disney Wonder and I'm happy to report the magic is still definitely here.

The ship has seen a number of cosmetic upgrades and looks great. The adults area forward on Deck 3 has been substantially refitted with all-new decor and a new lounge, Azure. I'm pretty sure it's brand-new as of the Wonder's entry into service from its COVID pause, but I'm checking into that. There are some differences between Magic and Wonder, but most are cosmetic in nature. However, each ship has its own unique personality.

Greetings fellow warriors, Many years ago Homer captured the epic return of Odysseus to Ithaca following the conclusion of the Trojan war.  It is a brilliantly written poetic masterpiece that, if you are literary minded, will grip your soul.
 
This will not be Homer’s Odyssey.
 
This will mostly be a narrative about me excessively eating and drinking for 8 days. 🙂

Tomorrow, we board the Joy for our first true Haven cruise on NCL.  We have stayed in a suite before but never with Haven access.  
We were supposed to be boarding the Crystal Symphony tomorrow but that was cancelled due to bankruptcy.  Since we had airfare, we hopped over to NCL.  The ship is our destination as we have been to these ports multiple times.  Feel free to ask me any questions and I’ll answer or take pictures for you.  I figure to let you ask now while I still have good internet.

Booked last minute on Monday. Got a good deal and scored a mid ship extended balcony. Flew into Florida on Friday. Met friends for dinner. Stayed at embassy Suites. Room was mostly nice. Took an Uber from airport for less than $14. Was going take an Uber to port but hotel shuttle was leaving and more convenient. More expensive but $8/person.

I'll get this thread started as we prepare to board the Emerald on Saturday.  We will be onboard for this 15 day, Full Panama Canal transit and also the following voyage, 14 day Caribbean.
 
In July of 2007, while on vacation in Italy, we were fortunate to tour the new Emerald and have lunch in the MDR while the ship was docked in Livorno.  Since that day, the Emerald has been our favorite Princess ship.  We have had many great experiences while cruising on the Emerald and are very excited to be back onboard!

Hello everyone!

Welcome to another "live" report from @brilliantseas, onboard the (hopefully) beautiful Carnival Sunrise.
 
We're just a few days away from our first trip onboard Carnival Sunrise! After leaving my significant other behind due to work commitments on the Legend sailing in December, she made the very last minute decision (as in 5 days before the cruise) to burn some vacation time and come along for what will be her very first cruise.

Happy to answer any questions! Observations, not necessarily in any particular order 🙂
 
- Passenger count remains very low, about 1500 ship wide, and approximately 150 or 50% in the yacht club. I get the sense there may have been a lot of upgrades into the yacht club. It’s just about perfect at 50% capacity! The rest of the ship seems quite empty except in the usual hotspots.
