Wow, it is soooooooo good to be back onboard a Silversea ship! We are here, we all survived Bridgetown embarkation, and we are (I hope, if I may speak for my fellow pax) settling in for a 7-day crossing. The ship engines are starting as I type this ... and we're off!

The crew say they are expecting 900 guests. It’s blowing a gale here at Port Everglades

Today's the day! We're boarding the jet, leaving the bougee behind and Tom and Jo take to the sea!
A little about us: We're late fifties, fun loving and have been chomping at the bit to get back to a ship. We had a cruise scheduled for April 2020; everyone knows how that turned out. That had been in the works for three (count them with me) THREE years! It was a glorious 28 day B2B. When it was canceled, because COVID would last a few weeks, I booked another (similar to the first for November 2020)...and a back up (on the Discovery (January 2022, around the Horn)...and a back up to the back up (a sedate Cali Coastal / Mexican Riviera, in case the world fell apart for March 2022).

Riviera Live! March 8 from a food lover and O newbie

After all the planning and waiting, we have arrived in South Beach for 2 days before embarkation. We had lunch at Oliver’s Bistro, one block from the car charging station. Food and service were great. My fried goat cheese salad was served with a raspberry vinaigrette, delicious. Jack’s fried chicken BLT was also fabulous.
After lunch, we went to the 17th Street Covid mobile testing center where we had pre registered. Free parking lot across the street. Efficient operation, happy to recommend. Both of our instant tests were negative 😁👍 yay!

Hello everyone, and good day. “The Sea is Calling” . . . I think I have mentioned that phrase on occasion.
I will be heading down to Cruise Maryland this Saturday to sail Enchantment of the Seas from Baltimore. I recently posted “LIVE” from Oasis of the Seas in Oct 2021, and “LIVE” from Anthem of the Seas in Nov/Dec 2021 from Cape Liberty. (Both can be found on Cruise Critic) This will be a little different itinerary and 12 nights. Enchantment of the Seas is a Vision Class ship that was built in 1997, and with a lot less passenger capacity than Oasis or Quantum Class ships.

This is going to be my 17th cruise--all on Carnival. This will be my 9th time out of New Orleans, my 2nd time on Glory, 13th time to Cozumel, and my 5th time to Belize and Roatan….If we go there. This time, we're heading out of Baltimore, my favorite port. Our destination is St. Croix, St. Maarten, St. Lucia, Barbados and St. Kitts. I've only been to two of these ports before, St. Maarten and St. Kitts. And of those, I've only been to St. Kitts once, 9 years ago.

With just two days to go I haven't seen anyone mention doing a live trip report so let me be the first to start this thread. Anyone can contribute, or do you own thing, it doesn't really matter.
I had previously settled on this ship being one of those "maybe one day I'll sail on her" so when it was first announced that Wonder was coming to America I had to book it.
Sailing in a deck 8 balcony cabin on this voyage.

Ok fine, I know that’s a stretch given that I stepped off the Edge less than a month ago and Equinox only a couple months before that. I guess 18 months of cruise deprivation put me on a binge!
Anyway, would anyone like to come along on my next cruising adventure? This time it’s a ladies’ vacay cruise on Millennium!

There are so many Live Froms going on right now so I will keep this one brief - I’ll give updates and hope to be able to answer all questions.
The ship is beautiful. The crew clapped as we got onboard and we felt a sense of excitement that we haven’t felt since we were cruise newbies.
The crew have told us that tomorrow is our “Graduation Day” and no masks will be required except in the theatre and casino. Crew will continue to have to wear masks.

All aboard! I’m impressed once again at the efficiency of Princess check-in. I boarded the Crowne Plaza shuttle about 45 minutes ago and I’m now awaiting a pizza and glass of Pinot Grigio at (the very busy) Alfredo’s.
