  1. After your arrival at the Terminal it is up to you if you wish to check in immediately or leave the terminal and come back and checkin later. While the first check-in is 11:30 they often open up around 11:00 for checkIn so you could check in and instead of waiting around to board just grab an Uber to Sagrada de Familia . It is about a 20 minute Uber each way. Make sure you book tickets far in advance to allow plenty of time. With a 5PM departure I would plan on being back to the ship by 3:30
  2. Wow.. surprised that so many have not heard of Alan Cummings. I first saw him in 1995 while living in Ireland with his Sitcom The High Life on BBC. He was also a star in the U.S. Series The Good Wife. He is a very talented actor On the Stage, Movies and TV as well as a voice actor.
  3. I agree that first slots can sometimes stay available for a number of days but on our Solstice April Cruise - earliest times available was 12:00 - The 12:00 slot was gone after about 8 hours and the 12:30 was gone by the next day. May be due to this cruise being a 6:30 departure and checkin times going as late as 5:00 PM
  4. You will not get a refund for the Drink Package. You will however get 2 Liters of Premium Liquor with your room and drinks in Retreat will be free. YOu will also get unlimited specialty dining and free laundry
  5. Don't want to lull people into false expectation. I have normally had very good uninterrupted connectivity on TA's and TP's, but have also lost connectivity for 5-6 hours near the Azores. Did a B2B Mexican Riviera with a day in Catalina Island - on both trips there was zero Wifi or Cellular the full time we were in Catalina -- even though you can see Los Angeles.
  6. Just a suggestion. Best way to determine. Google -- Temperature Bermuda October. https://www.gotobermuda.com/inspiration/article/bermudas-monthly-weather Bermuda’s Weather in October As busy season cools down, so does the air – but not by much. The island averages 80℉ (27℃), while the average water temperature gets to about 78℉ (26℃) – pleasant temps to help usher in the fall season.
  7. It is the timezone of the port of departure. I just checked in for a Cruise out of Sydney and it opened at 5:01 AM Pacific the day 45 days in advance Sydney date (date line). Celebrity had a problem with the date line and the App and Websites were one day different.
  8. If you have a wifi package and set your phone to Wifi calling, you should be able to make and receive phone calls at no additional expenses. I've found that the internet is fairly reliable but have also lost it for 10 minutes to 8 hours. I've also found that for best connectivity stay stable in one place. Sometime when walking on the ship I've had calls dropped possibly during handoff between Access Points.
  9. I have not seen anywhere that priority boarding would be the same as Suites - I guess you can just expect priority embarkation and disembarkation. You would not have access to the Suites Embarkation Lounge. Some of the reports I've read were that some that have purchased were met with blank stares when they said they had the priority program. Seems no one had received any training nor new anything about it. They were rather disappointed.
  10. I can tell you that for sure the attentiveness I've received by Butlers in CS, RS and PH has been exceptional. Our most recent cruise with the same butler in CS on the first cruise and RS on the second was the best we have ever had. I've seen zero deterioration in service in M and S class. I do have to say I have personally noticed a drop in Service in E-Class - not as much on the butler service as oppose to the food prep in Luminae (regardless of class of service)
  11. Have to agree with you. This happens annually and this year is no different from any other year.
  12. That is not uncommon and none of us know the logarithm that is used. I have seen cases were the price was much higher then if you purchased it on line and I've seen it substantially lower. To your question - In the past in a situation like that I would just have my agent upgrade my room on a purchased basis. After the new perk program if you were to purchase it you may loose your original OBC and potentially perks. You need to call you agent to see
  13. Value is really relative to each person's values and pocketbook. What may be of value may be of no value to another. I personally like upper suites but can be very comfortable in a RS but also have often been upgraded to a PH and was very pleased with the product and space.
  14. Should be easy enough to just see what the total they spent on drinks since theirs will be itemized and compare to the cost of the drink package (discounted if you got a discount) that you paid.
  15. Normally you will have very comfortable temperatures in Bermuda but you could also be affected with a late tropical storms. Hurricane season lasts into November.
  16. I've had it applied as quickly as 24 hours and at times had to resubmit 3-4 times to get applied. You can also call in if it gets stuck
  17. If you had requested a detailed invoice while on the ship you might have some data but in my experience it would probably be wrong about drinks. I've often seen many zero charges against our account in bars we were never visited. Also - especially on longer cruises where the bartender gets to know us, they haven't even bothered charging our room.
  18. If there are cabin in the same sub-class you can call an select a different cabin after assignment in the same-sub classification.
  19. Unfortunate and would be a good indication that you need to find a new Travel Agent. I see the agent failed you at least 3 time. You should have been advised of your choice between a Refundable or Non-Refundable Fare, You should have been advised to purchase travel insurance and Finally when you asked to cancel they should have told you your options of moving fee of $100 pp to move it to a different sailing as oppose to cancel where you loose your complete deposit.
  20. The chances of being upgraded from a guarantee are very slim. You will have a better chance bidding. The way the moveup works is that each Win frees up a waterfall of room upgrades or free up guarantee cabins that may have been overbooked. There is also a good chance that the guarantee is also a cabin that has been allocated to a TA for Group Bookings and will be returned to inventory if not sold by a specific date.
  21. Good luck. I had a port cancelled by Oceania and been working for 2 weeks to get both the Credit amount as well as the additional amount which was charged to my Credit Card. I'm new to Oceania and have to say I am not impressed with their "Customer Service". I will be calling for a 4th time tomorrow and if they don't fix it, I will be disputing the amount on my Credit Card. BTW - there is no way to cancel or re-book yourself via their website.
  22. Other possibility is that it was booked via an Agent that didn't check on it. As we all know, Celebrity IT isn't the brightest star in the sky and could possibly miss.
  23. You may find this tread of interest. It seems the OP found a possible work around.
  24. On most of the ships - yes you can. They will give you a little card with instructions at the Cashier. On some of the older ships like Solstice that isn't an option and you have to go to the cashier and ask for Slot Tickets in the amount you desire. (usually increments of $100 or $20). You can then use those in any machine.
  25. You can usually get around this with VPN. I use NordVPN and have no trouble spoofing location.
