  1. Unless they read this forum. In 2019 a poster told about being able to buy CBD oil with THC in California and that she used it every night when on board. The individual was disembarked at the first port as THC violates Federal law.
  2. If there is no change and your condition is stable for 90 days then Princess insurance will cover you. At least they did with me. Otherwise anything you take meds for would be excluded. You do realize this thread is 4 YEARS old.
  3. Depending on the time of day should be no problem. Late afternoon ship's time it got a bit slower and video calls dropped often as both passengers and crew online. Starlink has limited capacity in the middle of the ocean. Lots less demand except when a packed ship moves through and area
  4. It all depends on how many people are online at the same time. X amount of bandwidth divided by 5000 means things are a bit slower. Also the ships all throttle the speeds. If 1mbps is not enough for you on a TP cruise then can only suggest flying or remain home.
  5. It is a location upgrade within a class of cabins. Not worth much. IMO
  6. OK. I love to cruise the US West Coast, but cruise to where? Mexico, always love a port where the local police carry machine guns and the US travel warning means I have no insurance coverage California, San Diego great as a port. Catalina Island is OK. SFO great. But Monterrey and Santa Barbara are shut. Whales require slow cruising speeds so the 14 day RT to Alaska doesn't work any more. And the short 4 day cruises are not our style.
  7. They just wanted you to feel like you were back home.
  8. Yes Highly suggest looking at each ship to see what venues are on each ship.
  9. With Starlink mid ocean always gas a signal but little bandwidth. To the OP, I have always been able to send photos using the basic wifi package even at North Cape Norway or Elephant Island Antarctica. Super fast, nope. Did it work? Yes. If you find the wifi not acceptable then don't purchase. Have places in Arizona where there is no signal of any type and no Starlink.
  10. Maybe. If adjacent or across the hall yes for under 18. The OP has a 20 year old who is an adult, so yes they can be in their own cabin
  11. You also really need to board to find out what wines they are pouring. Often different wines in Europe. The wines by the glass can even change mid cruise depending on availability.
  12. It is an earlier time to get checked in. Zenith and suites board first thrn everyone else. Not a big deal to board a few minutes earlier.
  13. Asking about the weather months ahead is impossible. Do you know the Captain can change the course to avoid much rough weather. You never know. Drinks vs balcony is a personal choice. Do you tend to lounge in your cabin? Or be in the lounges? Inside ok. Oceanview are a good compromise. Have done some dozen TAs and 3 cruises to Antarctica. Some gave been smooth as glass. On two others was rough enough that some were seasick.
  14. All depends. The location will be announced on a notice left in your cabin before you arrive. No need to stress over where before you board.
  15. Got a younger feel in the Caribbean. On a recent TA the vibe was 60s and cruisers were 70ish.
  16. There is an android version. I use the Samsung version which is exceptional
  17. The two beds are pushed together, thus occupy exactly the same area. Whatever you like.
  18. Interesting. On our last cruise by 9:15 they were paging passengers who were still on board. Those doing a B2B met and had new passes issued at 9am and at this port were allowed to remain on board.
  19. You can get cocktails covered in your classic package if you do not demand premium spirits. Dozens of threads on this. Suggest a search for drink menus and professor cruise.
  20. Got to remember 6-9 hour time difference. So 6pm on board is noon or earlier in the US. Depending on what is happening, lots of tennis or?
  21. If you just want the train then book on your own. Same train. As said little to do in Flam except scenery.
