  1. Probably more about port schedule at one of your ports. We are on the prior ABC sailing and no changes announced.
  2. They will take anyone's seapass card for the $30 Luminae upcharge. We have had non-suite people join us and have covered the charge. Another time when not in a suite we joined a suite guest and we also covered the charge. You can just tell the Matre'd.
  3. You used to be able to upload on the app as well but that was "improved" so now you can only do it on the web.
  4. I'm wondering that as well. I was told by CC Concierge on Constellation in March that the happy hour gathering was gone for good.
  5. Yes I guess that would be a good point. Make sure to make a refundable booking onboard before transferring to the agent. Probably a good idea to discuss with the TA prior to doing this anyway. I was just trying to say you can combine the onboard booking reservation with TA group pricing if you know what you are doing.
  6. One interesting note. I booked a Premium Economy international ticket with FBC but PE was not available on the domestic connection so that leg was economy. I was able to get seats assigned on both legs when booked. After the flight was ticketed I was able to move my Economy seat to any preferred Economy seat at no charge. I was unable to select preferred seats before ticketing. This was on United. I believe AA is the same.
  7. I'm real sure the answer is NO to using flight credits with FBC.
  8. Yes you can apply it to an existing booking. I would still try to get them to just move the funds directly during the cancellation process. Much easier.
  9. You can certainly try to get them to apply the excess funds from the cancellation to another existing reservation but I think you would probably need to get escalated to someone beyond first line phone support as they seem very poorly trained at this point. From reports here it can take months to get FCC's processed so it my be problematic to cancel then wait for the FCC unless the existing sailing is a long way out.
  10. The FCC expires 1 year from date of issue. If you have another cruise in mind you could also just move the reservation to that new sailing however the $100 pp admin fee still applies.
  11. If your quoted a lower price by a TA then it's probably a group rate. You can always book onboard to get the extra onboard booking OBC then transfer it to the TA who almost always can move it into the group where you get the benefit of the extra onboard OBC as well as the group rate. The only down side is group bookings require full deposit so you will have to give the TA the extra deposit amount above the $100 pp onboard reduced deposit. Here is the chart of the onboard booking OBC
  12. The double OBC says booking from June 30-July 13. And then the one that starts on the 14th. The percentage off is all smoke and mirrors. It's really what's going on with the underlying fares that's important and really varies by sailing (itinerary, availability etc) just like always!
  13. Someone on a future roll call was trying to test with one-point in the last couple of days. Gave up after waiting over an hour. Same issue with the chat. They were challenging the charge with their credit card as they couldn't get support. I wonder if they are overrun being the cheapest option using the free government tests?
  14. Even if the ticket is paid before cruise final payment date? With the promo the ticket must be paid for at time of booking. Serious question I don't know the answer.
  15. I'd recommend doing the account setup stuff now regardless of when you are planning on taking the test. Just go to to the emed.com site and proceed with take test. Don't worry you can get out before the actual connection to the proctor is requested. I'd suggest going through the point where it checks your devices speaker/microphone/camera etc. After that there will be a button to "Start Test". At that time you can just get out and you will have everything setup for when you actually want to connect to a proctor and take the test. Like others have said you don't need a Navica account as the test report will be emailed to the emed account email, however having the Navica account would retain your testing history.
  16. You are just out of luck unless she can test negative prior to boarding. The requirements are CLEAR that it must be a PCR test. Doctors office also required it to be PCR before giving CoR. We had the same situation where DW tested positive exactly 11 days prior to sailing. We rushed to get to a PCR testing site. Even though the results were returned to us within the 11 days it's the collection date that's important.
  17. @twoflyers Were there any changes to the public spaces like they did on the Constellation. On Connie Rendezvous lounge had the high top table added in front of the bar and Oceanview had the continuous cafeteria lines broken up creating more individual stations?
  18. You may keep the discount but I'm pretty sure you are going to pay the $200 pp FBC change fee on top of any airline fee.
  19. I think your amount for the stateroom attendant is good if not a bit generous for a 7 night sailing. As one who has dietary requirements which are really well handled by Celebrity I would suggest a similar amount if not more for the MDR team. Have you contacted the special needs group to inform them? Even if you have I would proceed the the dinning room as soon as you get on and discuss with the Matre'd on duty. If you ever have a question on food stop and ask a assistant Matre'd to verify with the chef for you. Especially in the buffet, don't depend on the person at the counter. There are generally multiple Matre'd wandering the buffet, they are dressed with a shirt and tie.
  20. There have been many reaching Zenith since the restart. There have been PUP and double points promotions which have helped those close accelerate. Some are getting there pretty quickly now sailing upper suites.
  21. It's always been this way. Used to make sense when it was an actual event in the Sky Lounge as things are pretty hectic on boarding day. Now that it's just drinks most bars it really doesn't make sense.
  22. The Chilled Lobster Salad is one of my favorite apps.
  23. As the next poster said ask the sommelier in the dining room if you could swap it as well. Room steward should have done it but........
  24. Here's a link to the B2B discount flyer as many agents seem to know nothing about it. https://creative.rccl.com/Sales/Celebrity/General_Info/Flyers/CEL_Back_to_Back_Offer_Flyer.pdf
  25. Were you using the Captains Club number 1-844-418-6824?
