    Since you are in the Retreat you can get off as soon as the ship is cleared. You should receive luggage tags with a number 4. We disembarked from the Apex yesterday and our Airline said to be at the terminal 2 hours prior to departure. There were 5 ships in port disembarking! We collected our luggage shoreside caught a cab and were at the terminal a little after 9am.

    * Spoiler Alert * She probably won’t be returning to Equinox. She's been to the Edge, passed the Apex but went Beyond. Maybe someday she will start the Ascent?

    I agree. Speaking to the crew member's Supervisor is the best way to handle a problem, IMHO. We have done this and it works well. You remain anonymous, the staff member is advised how to improve their service and guests reap the benefits. It's a win-win situation.

    If the situation ever comes up again, you might consider writing the number 7 the European way. We learned to do this many years ago. No confusion, no lost credit. 😊

    Crew members in the Retreat look at and memorize the photos of all Suite guests before they board so that they can recognize them and address them by name. They know who belongs there and who doesn’t. 😉

    I agree, non Suite guests should not be allowed to pay for access to any area of the Retreat. On many special occasions, and definitely on days at sea, the Retreat is not large enough to handle all the Retreat guests who wish to utilize the facilities. I'm hoping that X has learned from the Edge and Apex and expanded the Retreat on Beyond accordingly.

    It will be interesting to see how X handles all the pre-paid Specialty Dining reservations.

    I wonder if Suite guests will be getting a similar notification soon? Luminae is smaller than the MDR.

    If this is true, IMO, X would probably be seating groups of guests sailing together at the same table, regardless of Vaccination status. All other guests would be separated accordingly. But considering how close the dining room tables are, in reality, I don’t know what X thinks separating guests will accomplish.

    Our first choice in cabins is normally on the AFT. The only “noise” you will have is the soothing sound of the wake when the ship is underway. 😊

    I don’t believe that either. 😉 Her current itineraries end in April 2024. I expect that the next itineraries released will have Ascent's TA to Europe for the Summer season, returning in the Fall. 🤞🏼

    One of the reasons we chose the cruise was the stop in St. Petersburg. And we chose a ship's tour. 😉

    We've watched this happen at least twice from our verandahs on the ship. The time it happened in Russia was pretty “interesting”.
