Back then you had 3 vouchers and they could only be used during the hours the lounge was open. Now you get 4 vouchers that can be used anytime. Yes drinks in the lounge you must use a voucher for.

Yes, taxes and fees as well as any cruise planner purchases will be refunded. Unless you officially cancel her you probably will not be able to make a claim on your insurance.

I suspect that it will take the cruises lines a week or two to react to the official announcement and change their policy

I finally got through to my Dr's office this morning after trying to call them all day yesterday. I was scheduled for June but that didn't work and none of the other dates did through the summer. She tried to get me in to fill a cancellation this Friday, Monday or Tuesday...nope stuff going on. I did get a date mid November once I'm back from my Allure cruise. I have to go every 2 years, still don't get entirely used to it but it's a lot less stressful than the first time.

I would not be surprised at all if this was one of those things that varies by ship

You can't Depending on where the tables are set some may have a view while others don't. They assign the entire table to a time, if your time gets a table without a view you are out of luck. If your table does have a view then get there so your the first one seated.

Why is it that spending money on specialty dining seems to be so debated here on CC. Spending money on shore excursions, spa services, the casino etc... never generates this much debate. Every person has different desires and wants out of a vacation. The cost is whatever Royal thinks they can charge for it regardless of what it is they are selling, no different than charging $1500 or more for a cabana at Perfect day. Personally I would get a whole lot more enjoyment out of the UDP than 6 hours in a cabana but others I'm sure are the opposite. To each their own.

Made a trip to Home Depot yoday and saw this on my way out. Guy had loaded 25 sheets of drywall onto the roof of his car. Even scarier was he thought the twine that they supply to tie the red flags to long loads would secure it. Thats about 1200 pounds he has on the roof. Part of me wanted to follow him with the camera recording waiting for the accident to happen.

None. They changed due to avoiding weather. That is out of their control. They may or may not offer something but that is usually only if they shorten or extend the sailing or totally miss ports and spend most of the time at sea
