Is it just me? Or am I not alone?

Not alone! We are 20 days out and we keep asking each other if it's too early to pack! The last week, esp the last two days, are pointless... can't concentrate. Have fun!!

Leave this Saturday for 8 days. Anticipation is part of the fun. Don't stand in front of the soft ice cream machine, it could get ugly.

OMG that is so funny, I told my husband when I woke up this morning I had a dream we were on an excursion. We were on a beach somewhere with a ton of people and had got there by bus, the told us they would bring everyone's "stuff" from where we departed from. When we got on the bus EVERYBODY's stuff was loose laying in huge piles in the back of the bus. I started wading and tearing through piles of clothes and crap to find my purse with our money and passports!

 

I think we share the same paranoia! LOL! :eek:

I'm currently on a land based holiday and our next cruise is not until December. I have a countdown clock on my phone and I've mentally promised myself not to look at it until we go home. Another week to go.

It's sooo difficult not to start counting the days from such a long way a way!!

Definitely we get excited.

Even though we may have seen the port before, we are always excited to see what has changed.

We don't have a cruise booked - just researching which cruise to take. And I'm excited about the possibility of the cruise. :D

We are six weeks from flying to our next cruise. It is about our 60th and I am counting the days

DW and I get excited as soon as I book the cruise. I have a count down clock and the closer it gets the giddier we get. I also surf CC to read reviews and check out youtube for the latest videos of the ship.

4 days until our 36th. 16 days on the high seas...yippee!

I don't get excited until we pull into the port. I'm the oddball!

Guilty as charged! 12 days to go and been counting for a long time now. I watch cruise port webcams, check the current position of “my” ship, and I watch YouTube videos to get my cruise “fix.” Cruised 10 or so times with several cruise lines...every cruise is a wonderful experience! Waiting is hard!

We leave on our 48th cruise on May 8. Still get excited and “can’t wait. Don’t think that will ever go away.

Part of the cruising experience for us is the planning, anticipation, the excitement and then the 30 day countdown before the cruise.

4 more work days for me, though 9 days before we sail (staying 4 nights in Tokyo, pre-cruise).

Yes, very excited. First proper vacation in 5 years (4-day cruise to Mexico in 2016 doesn't count)!

#36 coming up on April 29th and I still get just as excited as I did for the first one!!

And show it to everyone in the Breakroom...lol..especially the guy who is sailing on the same ship 2 months after me!!!

Just off the Magic last week and have 3 more cruises book. Aways look forward to walking up the gang plank.

You, DEFITINLY are not alone !:D My wife mad a reservation last year for a Christmas cruise, Dec this year for us and my sister (a first for this ship and a Christmas cruise. ALL they talk about, yes, I guess, me TOO!:p is the 'UPCOMING Xmas cruise and how much longer to we have ?!?' So, no you will NEVER be along on this board when it comes to suffering the days till..?:hearteyes:

I have been on so many cruises that the sail day is just like any other day for me.

23 days...."doing my happy dance " Embarkation day is my favorite day ever! Then before I know it 7 days are gone and we are headed home. Ahhh the cruise blues hit until I can book another [emoji16][emoji16][emoji16]

You are NOT alone -- I'm obviously at work and on Cruise Critic -- looking at my calendar countdown --- we fly to Rome on 24th -- Italy and Greece for 10 days. So basically one more work day (today doesn't count since I'm already here)!
