Good morning Jim and Judith,

It's been wonderful spending this time with you. I'll bet you are both excited to pack and get home to your babies. And very happy to be moving into your new home. What a wonderful adventure you have ahead of you. I don't go home until Tuesday, but I have been in touch with everyone down here in Florida. I have family on Long Island and have not heard from them, but I'm not worried because there are so many trees out on the Island and I'm sure they must be cleaned up before they get power. It always takes longer for the Island to get power than it does for the city.

Have a wonderful last day. Thank you so much for all the wonderful pictures and the posts. It was a great cruise for all of us to follow. You are so nice to do this.

Have a nice day.

Rev

Today is another Sea Day and we will be packing and organizing for the drive home tomorrow and taking it easy.

More later...

This can't be true!!! These 2 weeks sure went by fast and I had a great time tagging along...although I think I gained at least 10 virtual pounds from your food porn!!!

Hope you have a wonderful last day and a safe trip home...those puppies and kitties will be so happy to see you!!

Good luck with your new home!!!

Living in Fl. and you never saw a Flamingo??

I'm sure RCL makes the decision where to fuel up not the Captain.

Nice that you enjoy posting as you have done. If your taking a relaxing cruise to eat and not doing a lot of sight seeing this is certainly an enjoyable hobby that a lot of us can enjoy. It is nice to see and hear about places you are familiar with.

I now have an idea about the Vision for my Jan cruise.

Good Luck and happy cruising in the future.

Actually, the Captain has complete discretion as to when and where to purchase fuel when they are not in a home port. In fact, RCCL treats each ship as a separate entity and the Captain and his officers (Hotel directory, head chef, etc) are empowered to make decisions automonous from headquarters.

I have to agree. WE have had the captain announce that he had a good deal on fuel and was refueling. I am sure RCCL knows when he is saving money on fuel, plus the time and place may not be convient to contact HQ and ask.

I think that this will probably be my last "live" post from the Vision of the Seas!

It is time to head down from the Pool Deck and get our stuff packed up.

It has been sunny but cooler today and we have been relaxing, reading, and hanging out with all of our friends around the pool.

I have been unable to upload any photos but I plan to get them all up this weekend.

I ordered a nifty book on building the Canal so I will scan and post some photos from it this weekend if it is waiting for me at home.

Bye for now!

Thanks for cruising along with us...

I have always enjoyed reading the CC Message Boards but have never posted a message. Must break the ice and let you know Trainman how much I have enjoyed following you the last 4 weeks. Thank you so much for all your photos and the info about Vision of the Seas. All of your time and effort has meant alot to so many followers. Will be on Vision of the Seas in two weeks and through your daily posts, I feel like I know the ship and know that it will be like meeting up with an old friend. Thanks again and look forward to more following your weekend activities.

Jim-

Thank you, thank you !!!! Enjoyed the trip so very much.

Safe trip home, & hope you don't get licked to death by your puppies. I think one of the best parts of having a pet, besides loving them, is how darn happy they are to see us when we have been away. If I go to the store for an hour our Schnauzer greets me like I have been away for a month. Its great.

Promise you will keep in touch. Thanks again.

Jim, safe travels. Thank you for sharing your experience and excitement with us. I hope to see your ship come in early in the morning from the Hyatt Pier 66. Also thank you for taking care of the ship as we are starting our journey tomorrow.

Congratulations on your new leadership post and your new home.

Hope to cruise with you and Judith someday. May all your future cruises be as nice as this one.

Peace.

Another Jim

Dear Trainman and Judith,

Thank you so much for taking us along. This trip has made want to move the Panama Canal to the top of my bucket list. Safe travels home tomorrow. I know that your 4-footed children will be happy to see you. Good luck with your home renovation. Again, thanks for the trip.

Anne:)
